Today's planetary update

Date: 20th April 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

Today we have the Sun and Earth in the 4th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 3 and 50 bringing an energy of being very fixed on a very specific way. There is charisma in the air, built on a psychic attunement that magnetises or attracts nourishment, which ensures everything is in order. Plus corruption comes into play today through the selfish gift for turning inferior values into material success. This is a transit where there is the capacity to maintain a veneer of strength despite it being grounded in inferior values. The notself will be corrupt, doing its worst and rejecting out of confusion.

Then at 5:35pm they move into the 5th Lines of Gates 3 and 50, and this brings into play a need to stick to what is practical, or suffer failing others projections. There is energy to fuel the courage to stand by convictions, using unique individuality to withstand confusion. Ironically today actions designed to overcome confusion can end up alienating others. Plus there is a disciplined and natural conservatism in the air that wants to avoid any unnecessary change. This stems from the conservative awareness that basic principles should not be abandoned casually, and when continuity has bought success, it should not be tampered with. The notself will suffer, feel victimised, and rebel against success.

The Moon is in Gate 52 ‘keeping still mountain', bringing into focus the benefit of temporary and self imposed inaction for the benefit of assessment. This can be a very focused and concentrated energy, which develops through the understanding that stillness is required to focus and channel this passive fuel energy for withdrawing into concentration. Then at 2:18pm she moves into conjunction with the South node in Gate 39 ‘the provocateur', bringing the focus onto the value of obstruction in provoking analysis, assessment and re-evaluation. This is quite a combative fuel energy, which is looking for the awareness of spirit, and if needed will provoke to find the right quality of spirit. And there is a strong drive to persevere and provoke until the right spirit is found. Then at 12:05am on the 21st she moves into Gate 53 ‘beginnings', and this brings into focus development as a structured logical progression that is both steadfast and enduring. This energy is the fuel of steadfastness, and is seeking to start a new cycle out of the old, based on it bringing a better future, and this pressure or fuel to start something new is cyclical, there one minute, gone the next, then back again.

Saturn continues in his retrograde journey and has now retrograded into the 1st Line of Gate 46 ‘being discovered', bringing the energy to support art for art's sake. This is where any creative endeavour that is self fulfilling is sooner or later recognised, fulfilling the potential of creative success through dedication. So we could see creative endeavours being reviewed and reassessed for a Saturnian point of reference which is all about how what is not correct for you will only come back and bite you later, so get rid of it now. The notself will take advantage of others talent.
