Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

It’s the first day of winter here in the Southern Hemisphere and we begin the day with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 5^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 16 and 9 and then at 4:12pm (6:12am gmt) they will shift into the 6^th Lines bringing a theme for relaxing, resting and recuperating ready for the next round. And ‘gullibility’ is in the air today, and here we recognise the taste for and a susceptibility to propaganda. All of which is based in the ability to experience, examine, understand and then logically reject misleading enthusiasm, as this is the talent to assess the shared expression of others for the future. Plus ‘gratitude’ is grounding us, and this is the fuel for the joy which comes with accepting small rewards for small victories. All of which is based in the logical power of the small to nourish the right perspective and understanding, as this is the power to enjoy the process of sharing concentration on the future. The notself will withdraw and be permanently prejudiced, unable to find any joy in expression until the process is complete.

A small partial Solar Eclipse is taking place as the New Moon moves through Gate 16 and can be seen from northern Alaska, northern Canada, Greenland, Iceland, and portions of north eastern Asia.  A partial Solar Eclipse occurs when the moon’s shadow misses the earth but passes very close to it, and allows viewers the opportunity to view at least a small portion of the sun being blocked by the moon. The path of the partial Solar Eclipse begins at sunrise in Siberia and northern China at 19:25:18 GMT or UT and the eclipse’s path will travel northeast and end at 23:06:56 GMT or UT, just north of Newfoundland in the Atlantic Ocean. The greatest Eclipse occurs in far north western Russia, near Cheshskaya Bay at 21:16:11 GMT or UT

The Moon is still moving through Gate 8 and then at (11:12am 00:12am gmt) she shifts into Gate 20 ‘the now’ bringing movement and focus to ‘contemplation’ and this is about the recognition and expression of unique individual awareness in the now, which in turn transforms understanding into right action. This is all about seeing life in the present moment, life has to be now! It’s being totally absorbed in knowing in the present moment, instantaneously speaking, acting or becoming clear. There can also be melancholy over the world as it is now, with a deep need to care for oneself first.

At 9:00pm (11:00am gmt) the Moon shifts into conjunction with the Sun in Gate 16 meeting up with Saturn in Gate 48 Defining the Spleen and Throat Centres with the Channel of the wavelength, a ‘design of talent’, bringing the logical expression of taste, talent, skill, depth and awareness. And here we get to see how talent is earned through waiting for that one thing that you can give yourself to totally, this is about loving whatever it is enough to become totally absorbed in constant repetition and gradual improvement, until mastery is attained. Through this process the technique can eventually be transcended, becoming an art. Gate 16 also is where the Moon completes her waning phase becoming New at 7:04am 2^nd (21:04gmt 1^st) and this is also where the partial Solar eclipse takes place.

At 7:43am 2^nd (21:43gmt 1^st) the Moon shifts into Gate 35  ‘change’ bringing movement and focus to abstract ‘progress’ where by design, progress cannot exist in a vacuum and is dependent on sensing and interaction. This is the manifestation of cyclical experiential energy, which always requires beginnings middles and ends, and this transit is all about satiating that appetite for change. If this had an archetype it would be the ‘jack of all trades’ who can also attain mastery, which is manifested through being experientially talented. If this gate had a voice it would say ‘I feel it’s time for a change’ so is always on the lookout for the next experience. This transit can also bring a lot of expectations into play, and being goal oriented will only lead to disappointment, as this is a Gate of the ‘wheel’ continually turning.
