Today's planetary update

Date: 1st August 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs (note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

Today the Sun and Earth are in the 2nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 33 and 19 bringing a theme for being involved in your own thing until the right call to share it with others comes. And ‘surrender' is a theme today, where the recognition that abstract surrender to superior forces can be an opportunity to sense and expand one's own strengths and eventually triumph. This is all about embracing powerful forces in the collective in order to lay the foundation for future shared success. Plus ‘service' is grounding us today, with the dedication of personal resources as a result of external contact with the community. This is the fuel that supports dedication and service to the highest values. The notself will be deluded, impressionable, resenting powerful forces, indecisive and needing to be wanted.

The Moon is in Gate 21 'the hunter/huntress', bringing movement and focus to ‘biting through' where the justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference is supported by the community. This is the power for manifestation, metamorphosis and life on the material plane, and also brings a need to be in control, especially of food, clothing and shelter, based in an ego drive to dominate. At 12:58pm she will shift into Gate 51 meeting up with Uranus and Jupiter in Gate 25 Defining the Channel of Initiation, a ‘design of needing to be first' bringing the focus onto empowered individual love, identity, direction, will and worth. This is the archetype of the warrior spirit, who courageously leaps into the unknown when the need calls, only worrying about consequences afterwards, which in turn brings empowerment to others, as the unknown becomes known.

At 8:16pm Mercury shifts into Gate 40 ‘aloneness', bringing communication in relation to ‘deliverance' as the point of transition between struggle and liberation. Social caution is in play here, and being alone is a theme where even in a crowded room, the feeling of aloneness is there. This is also the will to look for emotional support and loyalty to ensure the survival of the community.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don't have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It's your life!
