Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

April fools day begins with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 21 and 48, and then at 10:01pm (11:01am gmt) the Sun and Earth move into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme for making materially beneficial discoveries through a process of trial and error, which can also lead to resilience. And ‘powerlessness’ is in the air today, and this is about wilful actions where the just are condemned to a futile confrontation with superior forces, and defeat becomes a survivable humiliation that is often only acceptable through the abuse of drugs and alcohol. All of which is based in the traditional wisdom that unless one supports and follows one’s own material path there is the risk of a breaking of the ego by superiors in the community. Plus ‘incommunicado’ is grounding us, and in a way this can logically be likened to the no moon phase, where the potential for light is unrecognised, unavailable and unknowable. All of which is based in understanding the redeeming value of the transience of such a stage which can give awareness and strength to those afflicted, as this is where the development of taste and depth is a long term process. The notself will totally withdraw with no protection for dealing with the material path, profoundly anxious when in a long term process.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 63 and at 7:58pm (8:58am gmt) she will shift into Gate 22 meeting up with the South Node in Gate 12 the Channel of openness, a ‘design of a social being’ and this is about a life of aware unique and individual passion and following one’s own knowing and feelings. All of which is based in unique emotional expression, which can turn out to be either charming or ferocious. Here we see emotionally fuelled manifesting influence, that must wait for clarity before going into action, and if the mood is not right, wait, don’t act.

At 7:21am 2^nd (20:21gmt 1^st) the Moon shifts into Gate 36 ‘crisis’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the darkening of the light’ with the potential emotional awareness to see the sense of the rule of cycles in which decline is a natural but not enduring stage. This brings an abstract potential of recognition through reflection on feelings that leads to the possibility of change, and looking for ways for conceptualisation to manifest directly as action. This can be a destabilising energy for the unaware, and this is where the crisis can arise from. Change and changes in feeling are natural for the abstract experiential process, and the ultimate role is to be the witness who remembers and reflects, as the shift of feelings determines the ending of a cycle, nothing more, and the recognition of this can only come through awareness. If the energy overwhelms this possibility, the change then becomes either something that is dreaded or embraced, both of which fuels expectations and inevitable crisis.

At 12:43pm (1:43am gmt) Venus shifts into Gate 37 ‘friendship’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the family’ and the support for the manifestation macro and micro cosmically of the organic nature of communities. There is also a potential emotional awareness with this very social and communal energy, recognising and focusing sensitivity ready for communal expression. And there is also the possibility of offering friendship and support to others, however the friendship offered through this Gate is never free of an underlying emotionally based bargain, and is always seeking loyalty and looking for a promise of loyalty in return. If this Gate had an archetype it would be those outstretched arms that are ready to embrace and hug, as there is possible awareness supported through the actual touch, not so much in the energy to embrace.

At 1:41pm (2:41am gmt) Jupiter shifts into Gate 51 meeting up with Mars and Uranus in Gate 25 Defining the Ego/heart and ‘G’ Centres with the Channel of initiation, a ‘design of needing to be first’ bringing rules and laws in to play in relation to will powered love and direction, this is the self empowered fuel to take leaps into the unknown. Here we get to see the archetypal warrior spirit, on a unique and individual journey, learning to walk the path alone, taking courage and leaping when the need calls, and worrying about the consequences later. On the mundane plane this is a deeply competitive energy, looking to stretch beyond normal limits, often through shock. This Channel is always looking to feel the wonder of the unique individual spirit, and through testing the limits of endurance comes transcendence and a totally fresh and even mystical experience.
