Today's planetary update

Today starts with the Sun and Earth still in the Line 2 of Gates/hexagrams 21 and 48, then at 4:16pm they move into the 3rd Lines, bringing an energy that is very attuned to change and learning through direct experience. And unless you follow your own material path there is a risk of being powerless and humiliated with the ego being broken by superior forces. Plus the development of taste and depth is a long term process, and flows through many stages. And even if life seems incommunicado, and the potential for light is unrecognisable, unavailable and unknowable, it is transient and a valuable part of the process. The notself will withdraw in futility, be anxious and forget its intelligence.

The Moon in Gate 28 ‘the game player', brings an energy where power and influence are transitory. Purpose and finding meaning in life is the main focus, with an instinctive knowing as to what is worth taking a risk or fighting for. Then at 12:37pm she moves into Gate 44 ‘alertness', and this brings an energy where the success of any interaction is based on the absence of preconditions. And there is genius in the air for sensing the gifts, talents, skills and potentials of others, and there is also an instinctive alertness based on successes and failures in the past. At 10:17pm she moves into Gate 1'the creative', bringing into play the energy of creation as a primal force, this is the energy potential to manifest inspiration without limitation. And there is a need to work alone, as this form of creativity is anchored in the philosophy of ‘I have to do it my way' and needing to be seen as being different.

The North and South Nodes of the Moon have moved into Line 2 of Gates 54 and 53, bringing a shift to the environmental view, where now we will be seeing discretion around the formal recognition of relationships, and restraint will fuel ambition. Plus success breeds success, where if early success is protected it nurtures further achievement, and there can even be a pressure to start something new based on past success. The notself view will see disloyalty and ambition at any price, impatient and taking imprudent action.

Observe the dance of the planets through the cosmos, feel how the energies shift and move, and don't identify with them, it's like the weather passing through, and your Strategy and Inner Authority is your umbrella in the storms of life.
