Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

It is the Full Moon at 5:11am 20^th (18:11gmt 19^th) in Gate 46, and the Moon is going to look extra large as it is coming very close to the earth, the closest it has been for two decades, so it’s the perfect evening for a spot of Moon gazing, more on that in the Moon updates.

The day starts out with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 6^th Lines of Gates 36 and 6 and then at 4:06pm (5:06am gmt) they will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 25 and 46 bringing a theme for researching and digging into things to ensure that there is a secure foundation. For the next six days the Sun is shining in ‘the spirit of the self’ and ‘innocence’, bringing the perfection of action through uncontrived and spontaneous nature. And the Earth will be grounding us in ‘the determination of the self’ and ‘pushing upward’, where good fortune may be perceived as a result of serendipity but derives from effort and dedication.

And ‘selfishness’ is in the air today, and this is about recognising motiveless action, and the universalisation of individuated activity. All of which is based in the psychic attunement to love, direction and identity that is its own reward, and where there is the potential for unique individual centering through a knowing type of attunement to challenges in the now. Plus ‘being discovered’ is grounding us, and this is where a creative generative dedication to love direction and identity that takes place in obscurity is then unexpectedly discovered. All of which is based in art for arts sake, where any creative endeavour that is self fulfilling sooner or later is recognised, as this is the experiential potential for creative success through dedication. The notself will publicise its selflessness, feel insecure in times of challenge, and only recognises others success if they can benefit from it.

The Sun is also in conjunction with Uranus, meeting up with Mercury in Gate 51, continuing the Defining of the Ego/heart and 'G' Centres, you can read about that in yesterdays blog.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 64 and at 10:46am 19^th (23:46gmt 18^th) she will shift into Gate 47 ‘realising', bringing movement and focus to ‘oppression' which is the restrictive and adverse abstract state resulting from internal weakness or external strength or both. And this is a mental pressure, that is looking to make sense of and find conceptual realisation out of experiential inspiration, which may not be such a comfortable process, as it will always take its own time and cannot be rushed. Here we get to see that it is really just a matter of waiting for the moment of realisation to come, and then once the realising has been done and facts found to substantiate it, the rewards are worth it. Also this Gate can create a lot of mental stress and anxiety based in trying to make sense out of past experience, and not being able to put the full picture together, and the secret here is to have patience and surrender to the cyclical nature of this process, and then the ‘aha’ moment of recognition and realisation will appear.

At 7:34pm (8:34am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 6 ‘friction’ bringing movement and focus to ‘conflict’, as the fundamental design component of progress, and this is based in the law of nature that new growth cannot exist without some sort of friction to stimulate it. This is a very complex energy as it has an enormous awareness potential, bringing out feeling, emoting and sensitivity, which are all part of our evolved genetic defence reflex. This is a powerful emotional possibility and is also about supportive boundaries, focusing on who is in and who is out, and developing awareness of the timing of dropping barriers to support intimacy. Also this transit clearly shows that it is only through authentic awareness that the true nature of intimacy can be transformed.

At 4:20am 20^th (17:20gmt 19^th) the Moon shifts into conjunction with the Earth in Gate 46 ‘the determination of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self or identity. The Moon also completes her waxing journey for this Lunar cycle, becoming full at 5:11am 20^th (18:11gmt 19^th).
