Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. At 10:46am on the 18th (23:46 GMT on the 17^th) the Sun and Earth shift into the 5^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 32 and 42 bringing the opportunity to connect with strangers of significance. And ‘flexibility’ is in the air today, and this is about supporting the easy adaption to circumstances. This Gate shows us where superficiality is a valuable tool for survival in the tribe and community, as masking the inner light permits for adaptation to prevailing conditions, all of which is based in having the instinct for adaption in times of change. Plus ‘self actualisation’ is grounding us today, and this is about sensing where fulfilment and actualisation of purpose are the natural path to follow. This in turn leads to the reward of having a healthy sense of self, rather than the abstract power and influence that naturally follow the experience. Here we get to see creative generative growth that is self fulfilling and naturally leads to influence. The notself will violently reject conformity, and be reclusive.

The Moon is still Moving through Gate 30 and at 2:08pm (3:08am GMT) she will shift into Gate 55 ‘spirit’ bring movement and focus to ‘abundance’ and this is where abundance is strictly a question of spirit. And this is based in the power of unique emotional awareness and its potential to destabilise, which is the testing ground for humanities search for spirit. And in this Gate lies the potential for individual spirit and its empowered manifestation, and it also shows us that spirit is not a concept or instinct, it is an emotional awareness, and through this Gate the limitations of emotions is experienced. Here we get to see how abundance is the microcosm of life in form, and could be seen as the archetype of ‘David’s cup’, which is where the cup is always present and contains our lives, and can be perceived as half full or half empty. Here there is always potential awareness available, yet when life is experienced as ‘this and that’, any awareness is lost. This is where the empowered individual can find the spirit in the emotional now, which is a wave made up of many points of geometry, and at any given point spirit is not a matter of comparison, just the wonder that the cup exists at all.

At 1:32am on the 19^th (14:32 GMT on the 18^th) the Moon will shift into Gate 37 ‘friendship’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the family’ and the support for the manifestation macro and micro cosmically of the organic nature of communities. There is also a potential emotional awareness with this very social and communal energy, recognising and focusing sensitivity ready for communal expression. And there is also the possibility of offering friendship and support to others, however the friendship offered through this Gate is never free of an underlying emotionally based bargain, and is always seeking loyalty and looking for a promise of loyalty in return. If this Gate had an archetype it would be those outstretched arms that are ready to embrace and hug, as there is possible awareness supported through the actual touch, not so much in the energy to embrace.

At 5:55am on the 19^th (18:55 GMT on the 18^th) the North and South Nodes move into the 2^nd Lines of Gate 58 and 52 changing the view to ‘perversion’ and ‘concern’ which is about seeing  a view that contains a certain logical degeneracy that will reduce joy to indulgence and decadence, fuelled by a drive to recognise and understand a variety of stimulation. Plus also in the view is ‘concern’ which is where we get to watch how the pause that is initiated to benefit others plays out. Also in the view here is the pressure to restrain energy or creative fuel for the benefit of sharing with others.

At 4:07am on the 19^th (17:07 GMT on the 18^th) Mercury shifts into Gate 50 ‘values’ bringing communication in relation to ‘the cauldron’ which is about knowing the value of historical continuity where traditional values serve, support and enrich the present and the future. This is about having the instinctive awareness to guard and maintain what has been built out of intimacy, nurturing and caring for the child or project to ensure continued survival of the community. This is the Gate of values and tribal law and also carries the awareness possibility of taste, intuition and instinct, both in the now and over all time. This is a key Gate in our wellbeing process and is the heart of supporting our personal immunity and our capacity to both assess and defend in life. And the expression of this capacity comes through values, as it is our instinctive creative values that are the support and foundation of our natural innate defence systems. This is also about the values associated with nurturing and caring, which come from our most ancient knowing and awareness, and is a fundamental ingredient to our human survival.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.
