Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

Today starts still in the 2^nd Line theme and then at 7:03am on the 19^th (20:03 GMT on the 18^th) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 3^rd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 14 and 8 bringing a theme for material resilience and mastery developing through the right trial and error processes. And ‘service’ is in the air, and this is the fuel for the utilisation of unique talent, knowing and wealth for the highest good, and can be seen as a selfless individual contribution to society, where the key to creative generative power and empowerment lies in selfless contribution to others in the now. Plus ‘the phoney’ is grounding us, and here we get to see the individual acceptance of the style over the substance of unique communal actions, which is based in a perfected and rarely detected superficial intimacy. An example of this would be something where empowerment comes as an expression through style, not substance. The notself will be greedy, self destructive and lack moral fibre, lost in shallowness and deception.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 21 and at 4:04pm (5:04am GMT) she will shift into  Gate 51 ‘shock’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the arousing’ and this is where we see in action the unique ability to be able to respond to disorder and shock through recognition, adaptation and the maintaining of individual centering. This is the Gate of self empowered individual initiative and fully embodies the will power to compete, which is based in a certain knowing plus a strong ego drive that can lead to either courage or folly, and there is always going to be some sort of shocks involved, resulting in a potential for wounding. Also this competitive drive even though not being an awareness as such, does bring a competitive drive that in turn brings a unique centering to our evolutionary process, and also brings empowerment to love in its many forms.

At 3:07am on the 19^th (16:07 GMT on the 18^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 42 ‘growth’ bringing movement and focus to ‘increase’ and this is the fuel for the abstract expansion of existing resources which in turn maximises the development of the creative potential sensed in the beginning. This is also the Gate of bringing things to a close, so that after reflection the next step can be taken, as using this creative generative power to complete a cycle is the heart of the growth process. And if there was a Mantra for this Gate it would be ‘one thing at a time’, which is about fully completing one thing before you move on, so as not to end up caught in a cycle of trying to tie up loose ends.

At 8:18am on the 19^th (21:18 GMT on the 18^th) Venus completes her retrograde phase and goes direct in the 2^nd Line of Gate 50 ‘determination’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to the instinctive strength of purpose that results in being able to enjoy overcoming adversity in order to achieve goals. Here we get to see the support and strength derived from defending and maintaining one's awareness, values and knowing in the face of opposition or conditioning. The notself will have a lack of strength to deal with adversity.

At 3:54am on the 19^th (16:54 GMT on the 18^th) Jupiter also completes retrograding and goes direct in the 1^st Line of Gate 36 continuing the theme of rules and laws in relation to ‘resistance’, and this is about the sensing, through experience, the energy and abstract determination to investigate and persevere in the face of opposition, based in the potential shared emotional awareness and power to handle experiential crisis. The notself will stuck in over principled resistance to change.
