Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day starts with the Sun and Earth still moving through the early stages of the 5^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 12 and 11, and then at 7:42am 19^th (21:42gmt 18^th) they will moving into the 6^th Lines bringing a theme for resting and recuperating ready for the next round. And ‘metamorphosis’ is in the air today, and this is the expression of the unique individual faith in, and energy applied towards change and the empowered emergence from standstill. All of which is based in the unique creative transcendence that can lead to successful mutation and the emergence of a new social form, as this is the capacity to mutate and express new social forms in the now. Plus ‘adaptability’ is grounding us, and here we recognise the conceptual inner balance to accept abstract transition. All of which is based in the innate awareness that senses that all forms are transitory, and reflecting on past experience leads to the realisation that ideas lead to change and are changeable. The notself will have a retrograde metamorphosis that evolves into social caution and standstill, being the speculator who profits at the expense of others.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 61 and then at 3:08pm (5:08am gmt)she shifts into Gate 60 ‘acceptance’ bringing the focus onto ‘limitation’, where the knowing, recognition and acceptance of limitation is the first step in individual transcendence. This is about the unique growth that comes through releasing limited amounts of energy, manifesting as power bursts rather than sustained flows. This fuel comes in a pulse, for example it could be seen that knowing is there, and then it is not, and it is the spaces in between the knowing that allow for empowered evolutionary growth and change to take place. Miles Davis, the Jazz musician, understood this through music, he said that the mystery of music is in the space between the notes, and from a Human Design perspective, it is in the space between that the mutation that moves us forward into the new takes place.

At (15:30gmt) the Moons shifts into Gate 41 ‘contraction’ bringing movement and focus to ‘decrease’, with the limitation of resources which maximises development of potential. This is the abstract fuel for the urge to sense and experience new feelings, and there can be many fantasies about having new experiences. There is also an impulse to try something new, due to feeling a pressure to seek out experiences through feeling, fantasy, excitement or a thirst for destiny, and to also have something to reflect on later.

At 00:28am 19^th (14:28gmt 18^th) Mercury shifts into Gate 52 ‘inaction’ bringing communication and movement into play in relation to ‘keeping still mountain’ where logical, temporary and self imposed inaction is vital to allow for the benefits that assessment and understanding bring. And this is the stillness of deep focused concentration that can be used to channel energy into what is logical. Also this need for stillness can at times be anti social, as concentration benefits from withdrawal, and as this is the fuel for how passive energy functions, lack of focus can lead to restlessness and tension.

At 8:26am 19^th (22:26gmt 18^th) Venus shifts into Gate 35 ‘change’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to abstract ‘progress’ where by design, progress cannot exist in a vacuum and is dependent on sensing and interaction. This is the manifestation of cyclical experiential energy, which always requires beginnings middles and ends, and this transit is all about satiating that appetite for change. If this had an archetype it would be the ‘jack of all trades’ who can also attain mastery, which is manifested through being experientially talented. If this gate had a voice it would say ‘I feel it’s time for a change’ so is always on the lookout for the next experience. This transit can also bring a lot of expectations into play, and being goal oriented will only lead to disappointment, as this is a Gate of the ‘wheel’ continually turning.
