Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.
The day begins with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 2nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 60 and 56, and at 4:03am 19th (17:03gmt 18th ) they will move into the 3rd Lines bringing a theme for developing resilience and making discoveries through a process of trial and error. And ‘conservatism’ is in the air today, and this is about individual and unique enlightened self interest, that through a certain knowing can naturally handle restrictions and limitations ensuring identity and security. All of which is fuel for the energy to creatively maintain identity and security despite limitation in the now. Plus ‘alienation’ is grounding us, and here we get to recognise determined self sufficiency, based in an abstract will and egoism that often proves overbearing and guarantees continued isolation. And this is acceptable, as there is a sense of intrinsic vitality, resulting in the drive to control and be the focus of experiential expression. The notself will ignore limitations and pay the price, offending others which ensures isolation and eliminates support.
The Moon is still moving through Gate 15 and at 1:13pm (2:13am gmt) she will shift into Gate 52 ‘inaction’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘keeping still mountain’ where logical, temporary and self imposed inaction is vital to allow for the benefits that assessment and understanding bring. And this is the stillness of deep focused concentration that can be used to channel energy into what is logical. Also this need for stillness can at times be anti social, as concentration benefits from withdrawal, and as this is the fuel for how passive energy functions, lack of focus can lead to restlessness and tension.
At 10:53pm (11:53am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 39 ‘the provocateur’ bringing movement and focus to ‘obstruction’, and here we get to recognise the unique value of obstruction in provoking individual analysis, assessment and re-evaluation. This is a combative fuel that is looking for knowing, potential emotional awareness and spirit, and this form of provocation is purely about finding the right spirit, and being empowered to provoke it into expression or not. This is also a fuel to persevere, and deal with the moods that provocation releases. And provocation can come in many forms, even doing nothing can provoke someone who does not have the right spirit, and depending on the mood either pain or pleasure can be provoked, even flirting can be a provocation.
At 8:27am 19th (21:27 gmt 18th) the Moon shifts into Gate 53 ‘beginnings’ which brings the focus onto ‘development’, and here we get to see abstract development as a structured progression that is both steadfast and enduring. This is the fuel for steadfastness and the maturation process, and is all about transition and change making sense, so that everything is ready to start a new cycle regardless of the changes that will bring. This transit brings a pressure to continually seek and share new beginnings, which always requires patience. The best way to deal with fluctuations in the intensity of the pressure to start something new is to wait and see, and boredom can set in quite quickly if forced to face the same old situations.
At 9:02pm (10:02am gmt) Mercury shifts into Gate 5 meeting up with the South Node in Gate 15 Defining the Sacral and ‘G' Centres with the Channel of Rhythm, a ‘design of being in the flow', this is a logical generative life force energy for sharing love, identity and direction. This is the Tantra energy of being in the flow and everything being effortless, through being in harmony with the life force of creation itself. Here we get to see a very magnetic energy that aligns us to the deeper patterns of life, and there is a natural tempo and rhythm is the air.
At 11:04pm (12:04gmt) Mars shifts into Gate 41 meeting up with Neptune in Gate 30 Defining the Root and Solar Plexus Centres with the Channel of recognition, a ‘design of focused energy’ and this is a powerful emotional drive, bringing movement and focus to abstract dreams and fantasies, and the main lessons here are to not try and make sense of the dreams or to try and make them come true. Also don’t expect emotional desires to bring lasting peace, as true peace is to simply enjoy the dreams themselves. And there is an endless yearning to feel in order to learn as this is where wisdom is gained through exploring all kinds of feelings, and often the way to stir feelings is through sharing dreams and wishes. There can also be a restless or nervousness as a result of this direct connection of a physical pressure Centre to the emotional Centre, and the biggest lesson can be patience and composure.
At (2:49am gmt) Jupiter shifts into the 2nd Line of Gate 25 ‘the existentialist' rules and laws into play in relation to devotion and dedication to the now. This is the recognition and perfection of the individuated intellect through concentration and focus on what is, rather than, what could be, or has been. Resulting in self empowerment where the innocence of the self and its protection can only be maintained with love and knowing in the now. The notself will be lacking innocence and attracting projections.

the Moons shifts into Gate 62 ‘detail’ bringing movement and focus to ‘preponderance of the small’, which is all about expressing logical caution, patience and detail to produce understanding and excellence out of limitation. If this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I think’, which is based in being able to communicate and share concepts from a mechanical capacity for detail. This is where opinions can manifest as words, and things can be given their names, solidifying their existence in the Maia, which aids the collective in understanding the world, as without names, there can be no understanding or sharing, this is the Gate of the development of language which is the common ground for sharing of the human experience.
