Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day starts out with the Sun and Earth moving through the early stages of the 4th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 11 and 12, which is in yesterday's report, and then at 3:05am 19th (16:05gmt 18th) they will move into the 5th Lines  bringing the need to approach projection and expectations with practicality, or risk failing. And ‘the philanthropist’ is in the air, and this is about the abstract and motiveless nurturing of the disenfranchised as a way to ensure harmony, based in past reflection and through that having a sense of conceptual awareness in relation to shared philosophic and humanitarian ideas. Plus ‘the pragmatist’ is grounding us today, and here we get to see that the unique empowered success of individual restraint lies in not abandoning the lessons learnt when the phase ends, instead they can be transformed through inner metamorphosis, ready to be expressed or acted on. This can also be seen metaphorically as light is always being conscious of darkness, manifesting in caution as an expression of knowing in relation to social experience. The notself will withdraw, using giving as a form of defense, having a tendency to remember only the most painful lesson learnt.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 6 and at 4:08pm (5:08am gmt) she will shift into Gate 46  ‘the determination of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self or identity.

At 1:43am 19th (14:43gmt 18th) the Moon shifts into Gate 18 meeting up with Pluto in Gate 58 Defining the Root and Spleen Centres with the Channel of judgement, a ‘design of insatiability’ bringing truth, movement and focus to the logical pressure and drive to find tasteful knowing. And this can be a very critical transit, and the key to giving and gaining understanding is to accept that it is best to not offer to share criticisms unless asked. Challenging life is not everyone's cup of tea, and if the criticism has been invited it will be well received. There is also an insatiable drive for perfection here, which can turn into analysis paralysis, so watch out for that one.  And remember judgement for judgement sake is best applied in the public sector, and not applied to oneself or other individuals. This is the completion of her waning phase and is dark of the Moon, which then begins the waxing part of her never ending cycles.
