Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

There is a Full Moon rising, and at 12:45pm (2:45am gmt) she will reach her zenith and begin her waning phase, more on this in the Lunar update section.

We begin our Monday still in the earlier stages of the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 3 and 50 and then at 1:18am 19^th (15:18gmt 18^th) the Sun and Earth shift into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme for developing resilience through a process of trial, error and discovery, which can also lead to mastery of the material way. And ‘survival’ is in the air today, and here we see the creative and generative ability to be able to recognise and distinguish between fertile and sterile in their various manifestations. All of which is based in reproduction coming about only through the individual ability to choose the best unique mate. This is the innate knowing and of what is sterile and what is fertile where the mutation is specifically biological and dependent on the collaboration with others in the now. Plus ‘adaptability’ is grounding us, and here we see the awareness that when unable to make it alone, there will be a natural and creative generative alignment with nurturing and protective forces. All of which is based in the instinctive awareness that to maintain ones principles and values, the support of others is necessary. The notself will be in contrary and perverse denial of evolutionary standards, resentful that its natural gifts are ignored so needs to curry favours with others.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 32 and then at 11:36am (00:36am gmt) she shifts into Gate 50, where she becomes full ‘values’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘the cauldron’ which is about knowing the value of historical continuity where traditional values serve, support and enrich the present and the future. This is about having the instinctive awareness to guard and maintain what has been built out of intimacy, nurturing and caring for the child or project to ensure continued survival of the community. This is the Gate of values and tribal law and also carries the awareness possibility of taste, intuition and instinct, both in the now and over all time. This is a key Gate in our wellbeing process and is the heart of supporting our personal immunity and our capacity to both assess and defend in life. And the expression of this capacity comes through values, as it is our instinctive creative values that are the support and foundation of our natural innate defence systems. This is also about the values associated with nurturing and caring, which come from our most ancient knowing and awareness, and is a fundamental ingredient to our human survival.

At 7:30pm (9:30am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 28 ‘the game player’ bringing the movement and focus to ‘preponderance of the great’ the transitoriness of power and influence. There is conceptualisation towards empowered awareness, based in unique existential awareness that is anchored in recognition of individual body consciousness, and can be experienced as a ‘gut’ feeling. And here we find the unique potential in the now to know what is worth struggling for, this is a deeply empowering individual process, where risks are always taken alone, and so are the consequences. Also the knower who does not know what to fight for individually or how to fight for it will face enormous resistance.

At 4:28am 19^th (18:28gmt 18^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 44 ‘alertness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘coming to meet’, highlighting the awareness that the success of any interaction is based on support and the absence of any preconditions. This Gate is specifically about the recognition of instinctive memory, which operates in the now and is cued by experience.  And this is a capitalistic energy, which is based in having the instinct and memory to transmit one's ego to the tribe. Here we also get to see the purely instinctive memory that cannot be called forward, but operates in the now and is cued by patterns in experience, and carries an alertness to the patterns of life. This is a Gate of individual loyalty offering its memory resources in return for the promise of the support and benefits of the ego's willpower.
