Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day starts out with the Sun and Earth having very recently moved into the 2nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 60 and 56 which I wrote up in yesterdays blog. At 9:46am 19th (22:56gmt  18th) they will move into the 3rd Lines bringing a theme for developing resilience and making discoveries through a process of trial and error. And ‘conservatism’ is in the air today, and this is about individual and unique enlightened self interest, that through a certain knowing and inspiration can naturally handle restrictions and limitations ensuring identity and security. All of which is based in the mental pressure for the empowered energy to creatively maintain identity and security despite limitation in the now. Plus ‘alienation’ is grounding us, and here we get to recognise determined self sufficiency, based in an abstract will and egoism that often proves overbearing and guarantees continued isolation for metamorphosis and transformation. And this is acceptable, as there is a sense of intrinsic vitality, based on past reflections, the results in the drive to control and be the focus of shared experiential expression. The notself will ignore limitations and pay the price, offending others which ensures isolation and eliminates support.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 43 until 9:09pm 18th (10:09am gmt 18th) when she shifts into Gate 14 ‘power skills’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘possession in great measure’, and here we see the creative generation, accumulation and retention of individual power through skilled interaction, coupling unique grace with control. This is an extremely fertile life force energy, bringing the power and energy for finding individual empowered direction, and the quality of the generative fuel determines the quality of direction. Here we get to see the generative fuel that powers the Tantra of empowering the Self, and the main drive here is to find direction, as real creative potential lies in loving the work that you do. This Gate also brings the skills and commitment to drive new projects and creative endeavours out into the world, and yes this involves work, but it is a labour of love, and wealth can arise from sustained creative work.

At 6:43am 19th (19:43gmt 18th) the Moon shifts into Gate 34 ‘power', bringing movement and focus to ‘the power of the great', where unique individuated power is only great when its display or use is serves the common good. This is pure centred unconditional creative generative power, ready for display and available for use through response. Also this is life force energy for the knowing power to be independent and the energy of individual conviction. This is also the essential fuel for individuation, and determines whether or not individuation can be maintained, looking for ways that awareness can become deeds.

At 8:11pm 18th (9:11am gmt 18th) Mercury shifts into Gate 54  ‘ambition’ bringing communication into play in relation to the ‘the marrying maiden’, supporting and recognising interaction in its mundane social context as well as in mystical and cosmic relationships. This is the archetype of the concubine who becomes empress, embodied in the idea of rising up through the hierarchy of the community, of moving up the ladder, this is the fuel of being driven. And this is a very ambitious transit, which is never a mundane thing, as it is only when the instincts to operate on the mundane plane have been mastered is transformation possible, this is the drive to transform and become something more.

At 10:34am 19th (23:34gmt 18th) Venus shifts into Gate 37  ‘friendship’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to the ‘the family’ and the support for the manifestation macro and micro cosmically of the organic nature of communities. There is also a potential emotional awareness with this very social and communal energy, recognising and focusing sensitivity ready for communal expression. And there is also the possibility of offering friendship and support to others, however the friendship offered through this Gate is never free of an underlying emotionally based bargain, and is always seeking loyalty and looking for a promise of loyalty in return. If this Gate had an archetype it would be those outstretched arms that are ready to embrace and hug, as there is possible awareness supported through the actual touch, not so much in the energy to embrace.
