Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

Today is a Full Moon day with the Moon reaching her zenith at 7:36pm (8:36am gmt) in Gate/hexagram 29, more on all that in the Moon section. To begin with the Sun and Earth are still moving through the 5^th Lines of Gates 30 and 29 and then at 4:06pm (5:06am gmt) they will move into the 6^th lines for one last look at desire and fates. And the theme is all about resting and recuperating, while gazing off into the future for what is coming up next, just don’t dismiss or trip over the good stuff already at your feet. And ‘enforcement’ is in the air today, and this is about recognising the discipline to maintain right action, based in the abstract assertiveness to purge the inferior while having the sense to accept leading the weak. There is also the experiential strength to eliminate negative feelings. Plus ‘confusion’ is grounding us today, and here we get to see the state that exists when creative generative momentum outstrips awareness. This could also be seen as driving blind and being filled with the abstract energy and determination that often leads to blind luck, all of which is based in the power to persevere that makes no sense. The notself will abide the presence of inferior forces, for the sake of peace, lacking the strength to eliminate negative feelings. And there is a tendency in confusion to withdraw, resorting to caution rather than saying yes.

The Moon is still shifting through Gate 4, and then at 11:56am (00:56am gmt) she will shift into conjunction with the Earth in Gate 29 ‘saying yes’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the abysmal’ which can be seen as the deep within the deep, where persistence despite difficulties has it’s inevitable rewards, which comes through reflection and making sense out of it all. This is the Tantric energy to empower the determination of the self and is the Gate of the generative yes, and fuels perseverance despite circumstances, and if not careful can result in loading up on piles of commitments and responsibilities so that there is something to persevere about. The trick here is to only ever say yes to what is correct, and the secret is waiting, this is a cyclical energy and what is committed to one day, may no longer be of interest the next.

At 8:52pm (9:52am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 59 ‘sexuality’ bringing movement and focus to ‘dispersion’, and this is the generative life force that supports the ability to break down barriers to achieve union. Here is also the fuel for expressed sexuality and/or creativity, and being able to break down barriers through response, so as to bring something new to the community. There is also a desire for intimacy which can manifest as anything from shyness, brotherhood/sisterhood, the femme fatale/Casanova, to the one night stand and a few others in between. Waiting is always the key here, jumping into bonds prematurely will only lead to surface intimacy which is never going to be satisfying.

At 5:46 am 19^th (18:46gmt 18^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 40 ‘aloneness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘deliverance’ which can be recognised as support for the point of transition between struggle and liberation. This transit highlights willpower and brings social caution and a real liking for being alone, and this can show up as being happily alone, even in a crowded room. The actress Greta Garbo might have had this Gate, famously saying “I just want to be alone”. Having a good balance of work and rest is also important for this Gate as it brings the ability to work hard for the right reasons, and then needs to rest well to be ready for what comes next. Healthy boundaries are also required here so as not to over extend when it comes to supporting the tribe and community.

At 8:39pm (9:39am gmt) the Nodes will shift into the 3^rd Lines of Gates 10 and 15 bringing a movement in the view we are seeing, not being, it’s time for a lense change and there is a theme of materially beneficial discoveries coming through a process of trial and error, so we could be seeing quite a few mistakes and accidents. And ‘the martyr’ is in the view, and this is about the futile rejection of standards based on a unique, individual and just awareness. All of which is based in the truth seeking martyr as an enduring example, whose behaviour in relation to love, direction and identity is ultimately enshrined, in the now. Plus ‘ego inflation’ is in view as well, and here we get to see the logical risk that modesty once understood and recognised will self destruct, as this is where otherwise negative and contrived modesty is reinforced by recognition and maintained as an effective strategy, based in the extremism of the self as a strategy to share and control the flow. The notself will pursue martyrdom for personal aggrandisement, trying to use harmony as a weapon in problem situations instead of dealing with the root cause.

At 5:41am 19^th (18:41gmt 18^th) Mercury shifts into conjunction with the Sun, Mars and Neptune in Gate 30 ‘recognition of feeling’ bringing communication in relation to ‘the clinging fire’ where freedom is recognised as an abstract illusion and limitation accepted as fate. There is also a desire and thirst for destiny and a hunger for change through the potential of sensing emotional awareness and realisation. Also through the recognition of emotional potential and feeling comes the conceptual potential for change, all of which takes time and happens in a wave where the emotions move from high to low, back to high and so on. This is the Gate where we get to meet fate, and the yearning for change so as to escape pain and find hope, is a curse of the fates. Yet it is between these two highly energised emotions of hope and pain that the true potential for experiential emotional awareness lies, and this is the potential awareness to recognise a feeling and leave it’s outcome in the hands of the fates.
