Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day begins as the Sun and Earth journey through the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 6 and 36 and then at 4:00am 18^th (18:00gmt 17^th) they will move into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme of trial and error, bumping into life to discover what works and what does not. And ‘allegiance’ is in the air today, which is about the innate ability to secure support to defend and create strength out of a weak position. Also here we get to see the destruction of old forms coming about through some sort of creative union, either at the mundane level, through sexual union, or exalted as universalisation. This is where potential emotional awareness and depth of feelings can enrich and support and defend union and intimacy. Plus ‘transition’ is grounding us today, which is based in being able to sense the reaching of the point at which decline has exhausted its power. This is the abstract ability to reflect and establish a new order out of the ashes of the old, based in experience, emotional depth and awareness to endure crisis and then embrace the change and manifestation. The notself will be sensitive to controls, reject intimacy and be unable to let go of the past.

The Moon is still Moving through Gate 2 and at 7:43pm (9:43am gmt) she shifts into Gate 23 ‘assimilation’ bringing movement and focus to ‘splitting apart’ and this is all about individual amorality, based in having the knowing, awareness and understanding which leads to recognition and acceptance of uniqueness and diversity. The very fact that an insight is unique and individual requires that it be metamorphosed in order to be able to communicate its essence to the collective, as for any insight to be recognised as empowering and truly of value to others, it has to be successfully expressed. This Gate is also about eliminating intolerance, as in an intolerant world it is hard for the unique individual to survive.

At 7:04am 18^th (21:04gmt 17^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 8 ‘contribution’ bringing movement and focus to individualised ‘holding together’ and this is where an individual’s basic worth is realised and recognised through the actions of contributing their unique efforts to group goals. This is based in the individual possibility of metamorphosis leading to the expression of what you know you can do, and this is best done through going your own way and being the example, and whether anyone follows you or not is irrelevant as the individual knower is designed to be able to go it alone.

At 10:37am (00:37am gmt) Uranus moves into the 5^th Line of Gate 25 bringing a sidetracking influence to love, direction, identity and ‘recuperation’, when individual innocence is sapped of its vitality, unique healing is the first priority. All of which is based in the centred and individuated ability to recognise the inner meaning of an affliction and to knowingly withdraw until it is healed in the now. The notself will be the hypochondriac through weakness of spirit.
