Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin our day with the Sun and Earth in the last phases of Gates/hexagrams 43 and 23, and then at 4:21pm (5:21am gmt) they will shift into the 1st Lines of Gates 14 and 8 bringing an theme for introspection and investigation to ensure that the foundations are ready and secure for what comes next. And for the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘power skills’ and ‘possession in great measure’, with the accumulation of power through skilled interaction, coupling grace with control. Plus the Earth is grounding us in ‘contribution’ and ‘holding together’ where the basic worth realised in contributing individual efforts to group goals.

And ‘money isn’t everything’ is in the air today, which is the fuel for the unique knowing and recognition that wealth has its own problems. Here we get to see the creative generative lust for lucre which is in turn tempered with individual higher principles. All of which is based in a responsive empowerment where the key to manifesting power is always based in higher principles in the now. Plus ‘honesty’ is grounding us, and here we get to see the unique and truthful acceptance of individual limitation as well as the recognition that it can only be transcended through sharing. This is all based in the empowered awareness that the love, direction and identity of the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts, and there is a knowing that creative expression must be honestly communicated and shared. The notself will have the delusion that throwing money at problems works, and will end up withdrawing out of fear of losing individuality in group environments.

The  Moon is still moving through Gate 31 and at 5:20pm (6:20am gmt) she will shift into Gate 33 ‘privacy’ bringing movement and focus to ‘retreat’ which is about active withdrawal for reflection that can transform a weak position into a strength. And if this Throat Centre Gate had a voice it would say ‘I remember’, and is the voice of the abstract witness that could be likened to the prodigal child, who leaves home, giving up their birthright to wander and learn and then returns home many years later much the wiser and is accepted back into the fold so that the wisdom they have garnered during their experience can be expressed and shared through remembrance bringing them recognition. Here we see the need of regular time alone to reflect on the past, so that the past experiences can be processed and made sense of.

At 3:33am 18th (16:33gmt 17th) the Moon shifts into Gate 7  ‘the role of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the army’ which is a metaphor for having a common point of convergence. And here we get to see how having a logical point of convergence, by design brings understanding and recognition of the need for leadership to guide and order society into a logical direction for the future through the role of interaction and sharing. This transit is all about logical direction and the role of the Self or identity in interaction, and how that plays out to lead us into the future. And this is done mainly through first of all testing out established patterns to find certainty for the future. This role of the self is unaware, it is purely mechanical, and is driven by our genes and does not respond to any mental concepts of role, it is just purely conditioning how we move into the future.

At 8:44pm (9:44am gmt) Mercury shifts into conjunction with Venus is Gate 26 ‘the egoist’ bringing communication, values and worth into play in relation to the view of ‘the taming power of the great’ which is about supporting the maximisation of the power of memory so that it can be recognised and applied to the nurturing of manifestation and continuity within the community. This is the Gate of the trickster where will and memory can be manipulated, where based on the dualistic nature of life can result in great lies or great truths, or this could be the archetypal sales or public relations person, who could sell ice to Eskimos. A saying that could exemplify this Gate is ‘fools are liars and prophets too, for they can never know if what they say is true. They just have to wait and see.’ This transit's dualism clearly shows up in the sense that from the mouth of the great liar can also come the great truth.  And yes the Heart Centre is not aware, it is pure will powered energy, and the manipulation of memory is inborn and mechanical.
