Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day on the tail end of the 6^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 43 and 23 and at 10:24am on the 17^th (23:24 GMT on the 16^th) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 14 and 8 bringing an energy for introspection and investigation to ensure that the foundations are ready and secure for what comes next. And for the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘power skills’ and ‘possession in great measure’, with the accumulation of power through skilled interaction, coupling grace with control. Plus the Earth is grounding us in ‘contribution’ and ‘holding together’ where the basic worth realised in contributing individual efforts to group goals.

And ‘money isn’t everything’ is in the air today, which is about the unique knowing and recognition that wealth has its own problems. This Gate brings into play the lust for lucre which is in turn tempered with individual higher principles, all of which is based in a creative generative fuel where the key to manifesting power is always based in higher principles in the now. Plus ‘honesty’ is grounding us, and here we get to see the unique and truthful acceptance of individual limitation as well as the recognition that it can only be transcended through sharing. This is all based in the empowered awareness that the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts, and there is a knowing that creative expression must be honestly communicated and shared. The notself will have the delusion that throwing money at problems works, and will end up withdrawing out of fear of losing individuality in group environments.

 And then at 8:44am on the 18^th (21:44 GMT on the 17^th) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 2^nd Lines bringing a theme of being busy and absorbed in natural talents until the right call comes to share those talents boldly. And ‘management’ is in the air here, and this is about the empowering wisdom that investing in unique expertise brings rewards, and can lead to creative generative expansion. Here we get to see the individual ability to delegate responsibility, based in the knowing that the key to power lies in not trying to be and to do everything alone. Plus ‘service is grounding us, bringing into play a theme where the highest individual good is to serve selflessly, and this is based in the unique potential to be an example through unselfish empowered expression in the now. The notself will have the vanity to be its own best expert, and some sort of reward will be a prerequisite of any service.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 25 and at 5:45pm (6:45am GMT) she shifts into Gate 17 ‘opinions’ bringing the focus onto ‘following’, and this is based in the ancient law that those who wish to rule must first know how to serve. There is also the possibility to be able to logically organise conceptual formulas, based in having the understanding to prepare it for future expression. This transit also brings out the archetype of the student or the teacher, where opinions must have a logical foundation to withstand testing and criticism. This is where the logical formula is brought into focus, both mentally and visually. It is also where opinions need proof and a logical foundation to be able to withstand testing and criticism, which by the way doesn’t mean the opinions, logical or not, are correct. Something to understand about facts is that they are regularly used to support lies, and in turn lies are proffered as logical formulas. This is purely about the form of the concept, looking to understand and see clearly in the now, so that there is something to share. Also even though these are mental concepts, they are also about visualisation, seeing a fixed pattern and projecting it into the future.

At 4:56am on the 18^th (17:56 GMT on the 17^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 21 ‘the hunter/huntress’ bringing movement and focus to the will and ‘biting through’, and this is where we could see the justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference in the community. This is the ego fuel that supports the power for life on the material plane, and demands to be in control of food, clothing and shelter. This Gate hates to have anyone looking over its shoulder, the hunter/huntress has the ego drive to dominate, and if it had a voice it would say ‘I control’ as when in a situation where it has no control, it’s power can never be fulfilled. This is where control supports and brings fulfilment, and if not in control of how a living is earned, success is always far away.

At 5:48pm (6:48am GMT) Saturn moves into the 5^th Line of Gate 48 and ‘action’ is in the air, and this transit is bringing into play learnings in relation to logical awareness and the natural urge to apply depth and energy to future action, all of which is based in having an understanding and taste for knowing, which in turn leads to shared action. The notself will have an overreliance on the need for protection in times of social renewal, getting stuck in obsession with details.
