Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The Moon completes her waxing phase at 9:10pm (11:10am gmt) becoming full in Gate 14, more about that in the Lunar updates

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth still moving though the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 8 and 14 and then at 1:00am 18^th (15:00gmt 17^th) they will shift into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme for making materially beneficial discoveries through trial and error and experimentation. And ‘the phoney’ is in the air today, and here we recognise the individual acceptance of unique style and not the substance, when it comes to communal actions in the now. All of which is based in perfected and rarely detected superficial intimacy and knowing, which is the example of love, direction and identity as an expression through empowered style, not substance. Plus ‘service’ is grounding us, and this is the fuel for the creative generative utilisation of unique talent and individual wealth that empowers the highest good. All of which is based in a selfless contribution to society, where the key to power lies in selfless contribution to others in the now. The notself will be shallow and underestimate others and overestimates it’s own abilities, and greed will lead to the self destruction of moral fibre.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 1, and then at 9:08am 17^th (23:08gmt 16^th) she shifts into Gate 43 ‘insight’ bringing movement and focus to ‘breakthrough’ where in order for individual achievement to be maintained, through awareness a new order must be fairly established and empowered. This is where breakthrough comes through the individual insights found through the inner ear that listens only to its own inner voice. This is the Gate of the inner ear, which can be deaf to outside influences, so there can be difficulty listening to outside forces, and this is a genetic protection from undue influence, which can make any learning difficult, and the only way to learn is simple steps right from the very beginning, as to learn real knowing as an individual a unique step by step approach is best. There is also the possibility to transform rationalised inner truth into an insight, a unique perspective, or individual mental knowing, which if it is not backed up by facts, may be merely delusional. It takes fortitude, strength and courage to stand behind uniqueness, with the possibility of finally shaping an awareness, and then once fully conceptualised, there is a need to wait for access to expression and manifestation.

At 6:20pm (8:20am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 14 ‘power skills’ were she will reach the peak of her fullness at 9:10pm (11:10am gmt) and begin the waning phase of her never ending cycle. And this is bringing movement and focus onto ‘possession in great measure’, and here we see the creative generation, accumulation and retention of individual power through skilled interaction, coupling unique grace with control. This is an extremely fertile life force energy, bringing the power and energy for finding individual empowered direction, and the quality of the generative fuel determines the quality of direction. Here we get to see the generative fuel that powers the Tantra of empowering the Self, and the main drive here is to find direction, as real creative potential lies in loving the work that you do. This Gate also brings the skills and commitment to drive new projects and creative endeavours out into the world, and yes this involves work, but it is a labour of love, and wealth can arise from sustained creative work.

At 3:36am 18^th (17:36gmt 17^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 34 ‘power', bringing movement and focus to ‘the power of the great', where unique individuated power is only great when its display or use serves the common good. This is pure centred unconditional creative generative power, ready for display and available for use through response, this is the knowing power to be independent and the energy of individual conviction. This is also the essential fuel for individuation, and determines whether or not individuation can be maintained, looking for ways that awareness can become deeds.

At 7:08am 18^th (21:08gmt 17^th) the North and South  Nodes move into the 1^st Lines of Gates 11 and 12 changing the lens of our environmental view to one of ‘ideas’ and ‘peace’ which is seen as the harmonic condition in the individual or society that permits assessment before renewed action, plus we are also seeing some ‘caution’ and ‘standstill’ which is about the quality of restraint and the importance of meditation and inaction in confronting temptation. And ‘attunement’ is also in view, which is about seeing the awareness of the serendipity of being in the right place at the right time, and is based in the abstract nourishment derived from being with those who recognise and share the same goals and aspirations. This could also be seen as having a gift sensing or finding those who will value your shared ideas and past reflections. Plus ‘the monk’ is a part of the environmental view, and this is about seeing individual withdrawal that can only be expressed and maintained with communal support. All of which is based in the unique beauty, knowing and harmony possible beyond the reach of temptation. So this could be seen as the expression of social withdrawal and its value when supported by others. The notself will see and even identify with a fear of anonymity, sensing that no one will value their ideas, as well as seeing total and often absurd withdrawal.

At 8:26pm ( 10:26am gmt) Mercury shifts into conjunction with Mars and then at 11:45pm (13:46gmt) Venus joins them all in Gate 27 ‘caring’ bringing communication, values and maturation into play in relation to ‘nourishment’ and this is the fuel for the support, defence and enhancement of the quality and substance of all activities through responsive caring. This is a powerful generative life force bringing energy for nourishment, as without nourishment and caring, nothing can survive, this is the drive to care and nourish as well as to be cared for and nourished. This is also the Gate of compassion, bringing the power to care for the weak, the sick and the young. And here we get to see pure impressive altruism in action, if this Gate had an archetype, it could be Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
