Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day still in the 1^st Line theme and then at 5:57am 18^th (18:57gmt 17^th) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 60 and 56 bringing a theme for being shy and absorbed in enjoying natural talents until the timing is right and there is a call to drop the barriers and be bold. And ‘decisiveness’ is in the air today, and this is the fuel for the individual and unique understanding of the nature of limitation, which is based in the knowing to accept the restraints of limitation when it is correct and necessary and thus be able to take advantage of opportunities when they arise. Here we get to see the innate creative energy which can mutate and adapt to restraint in the now. Plus ‘linkage’ is grounding us and this is about the expression of abstract isolated genius that will eventually find sense and continuity through recognition and support. All of which is based in an experiential genius for stimulating expression that will take time to mature and will need others to recognise and share it. The notself will habitually adapt to restraint, getting stuck in limitation that no longer exists, lacking depth resulting in a superficiality that will collapse under recognition and be forced to move on.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 45 and at 5:33pm (6:33am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 12 ‘caution’ bringing movement and focus onto individual ‘standstill’ which is about the empowering quality that restraint can bring to life. This brings into play a knowing that is often experienced through allowing time for meditation and inaction when confronting temptation. And this Gate is specifically about the empowerment that comes through not doing, it is also a Gate of social caution as it has an innate wariness of the collective. This is also a transit where aloneness is accepted and expressed in its own unique way, and if it had a voice it would say ‘I try’ or ‘I won't try’, there is always going to be a maybe with this transit, depending on the mood and the spirit.

At 3:27am 18^th (16:27gmt 17^th) the Moon shifts into conjunction with the South Node in Gate 15 ‘extremes’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘modesty’ which is about a certain quality of logical behaviour which in and of itself can lead to finding love, direction and identity through expressing the proper balance between extremes. And modesty in the traditional sense is always a matter of understanding and balancing extremes, and is where all possible extremes are lived out, which could include being busy or not, eating late, then early, sleeping long and short, generally living out and wanting to share all sorts of extremes of rhythm.
