Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth still in the 4^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 30 and 29, and then at 5:48pm (6:48am gmt) they will shift into the 5^th lines bringing a theme of bringing practical solutions to save the day, or if projections are failed, burning at the stake could be the result. And ‘irony’ is in the air today, and this is about the recognition and dedication to abstract and transitory goals. Here we sense strength that is derived from the knowledge and experience that two steps forward and one step back, is still one step forward, all of which is based in each new feeling bringing back an old feeling before progress can take place. Plus overreach is grounding us, and this is about sensing the abstract tendency to bite of more than one can chew, where the creative generative drive is in the design and not ambition driven, and is based in the uncontrollable urge to say yes. The notself will be frustrated with limits, desiring to eliminate the whole process, with failed ambitions through over extending resources.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 33 and at 5:54pm (6:54am gmt) she shifts into Gate 7 ‘the role of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the army’ which is a metaphor for having a common point of convergence. And here we get to see how having a logical point of convergence, by design brings understanding and recognition of the need for leadership to guide and order society into a logical direction for the future through the role of interaction and sharing. This transit is all about logical direction and the role of the Self or identity in interaction, and how that plays out to lead us into the future. And this is done mainly through first of all testing out established patterns to find certainty for the future. This role of the self is unaware, it is purely mechanical, and is driven by our genes and does not respond to any mental concepts of role, it is just purely conditioning how we move into the future.

At 2:57pm 18^th (15:57gmt 17^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 4 'formulisation' bringing the focus onto 'youthful folly' and the logical energy to beguile and succeed despite ignorance as this transit brings a freedom from retribution plus good fortune. There is also the potential to have an answer for any doubt, just be aware that the concepts and answers might only be a potential, and could be sheer foolishness instead of real understanding. It is clear that the most grounded path is based in logic, and to use logic, is to be able to recognise and substantiate things with fact, which protects from sharing misjudgement. This Gate brings a mental pressure of doubt and suspicion that can last a lifetime, and this is based in looking for some sort of logical awareness, which always requires a formula, and no matter what the answer appears to be, it is not necessarily a solution or a fact.

At 9:01pm (10:01am gmt) Venus shifts into Gate 54 ‘ambition’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘the marrying maiden’, supporting and recognising interaction in its mundane social context as well as in mystical and cosmic relationships. This is the archetype of the concubine who becomes empress, embodied in the idea of rising up through the hierarchy of the community, of moving up the ladder, this is the fuel of being driven. And this is a very ambitious transit, which is never a mundane thing, as it is only when the instincts to operate on the mundane plane have been mastered is transformation possible, this is the drive to transform and become something more.
