Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin our day with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 6th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 61 and 62 until 1:45pm 17th (2:45am gmt 17th) when they will shift into the 1st Lines of Gates 60 and 56 bringing a theme for investigating and really checking things out thoroughly to ensure that the foundation is secure and deep enough to be relied on. For the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘acceptance’ and ‘limitation’, where the acceptance of limitation is the first step in transcendence, also the Sun will briefly be in conjunction with Mars for a day or so. And the Earth is grounding us in ‘stimulation’ and ‘the wanderer’ bringing stability through movement, with the perception of continuity through the linking of short term activities.

And ‘acceptance’ is in the air today, and this the fuel for the unique individual ability to maintain inner harmony when confronted by the pressure of external limitations. All of which is based in an empowered knowing and harmonic energy that can creatively deal with external limitations in the now. Plus ‘quality’ is grounding us, and here we recognise the practical sense that even short term activities should be of value, all of which is based in the abstract expression of past experience that leads to the transforming of practical ideas into something of value. The notself will have a drive for diversity, becoming restless and agitated if confronted with limitations, plus it will be restless and misuse energy in trivial pursuits driven by the ego to try and make an impression through expressing trivial ideas.

Then the Sun and Earth will move into the 2nd Lines at 11:51am 18th (00:51am gmt 18th) bringing a theme for being shy and absorbed in enjoying natural talents until the timing is right and there is a call to drop the barriers and be bold. And ‘decisiveness’ is in the air here, and this is the fuel for the individual and unique understanding of the nature of limitation, which is based in the empowered knowing to accept the restraints of limitation when it is correct and necessary and thus be able to take advantage of creative generative opportunities when they arise in the now. Here we get to see the innate creative energy which can mutate and adapt to restraint in the now. Plus ‘linkage’ is grounding us and this is about the expression of abstract isolated genius that will, through past reflection, eventually find sense and continuity through metamorphosis, recognition and support. All of which is based in an experiential genius for stimulating expression that will take time to transform and mature and will need others to recognise and share it. The notself will habitually adapt to restraint, getting stuck in limitation that no longer exists, lacking depth resulting in a superficiality that will collapse under recognition and be forced to move on.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 28 and at 4:31pm 17th (5:31am gmt 17th) she will shift into Gate 44 ‘alertness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘coming to meet’, highlighting the awareness that the success of any interaction is based on support and the absence of any preconditions. This Gate is specifically about the recognition of instinctive memory, which operates in the now and is cued by experience.  And this is a capitalistic energy, which is based in having the instinct and memory to transmit one's ego to the tribe. Here we also get to see the purely instinctive memory that cannot be called forward, but operates in the now and is cued by patterns in experience, and carries an alertness to the patterns of life. This is a Gate of individual loyalty offering its memory resources in return for the promise of the support and benefits of the ego's willpower.

At 2:04am 18th (15:04gmt 17th) the Moon shifts into Gate 1 ‘the creative’  bringing movement and focus to 'creation as a primal force', as it brings the empowered energy potential to manifest individual inspiration and direction without limitation. This is the yangest of all the hexagrams, and is a powerful energy that demands attention as there is a deep need for recognition and to express individual creative identity. And this can be seen as a deeply creative energy based in empowered unique individual creative expression. The role of this sort of creativity is all about doing your own thing, which may become an example of a new direction to others, if recognised as valuable, otherwise the drive to express one's unique knowing and individuality is not always appreciated.

At 11:37am 18th (00:37am gmt 18th) the Moon shifts into Gate 43  insight’ bringing movement and focus to ‘breakthrough’ where in order for individual achievement to be maintained, through awareness a new order must be fairly established and empowered. This is where breakthrough comes through the individual insights found through the inner ear that listens only to its own inner voice. This is the Gate of the inner ear, which can be deaf to outside influences, so there can be difficulty listening to outside forces, and this is a genetic protection from undue influence, which can make any learning difficult, and the only way to learn is simple steps right from the very beginning, as to learn real knowing as an individual a unique step by step approach is best. There is also the possibility to transform rationalised inner truth into an insight, a unique perspective, or individual mental knowing, which if it is not backed up by facts, may be merely delusional. It takes fortitude, strength and courage to stand behind uniqueness, with the possibility of finally shaping an awareness, and then once fully conceptualised, there is a need to wait for access to expression and manifestation.
