Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We start the day with the Sun and Earth still in the early stages of the 1^st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 6 and 36 and then at 4:55am 17^th (18:55gmt 16^th) they will move into the 2^nd Lines bringing a theme for being absorbed in enjoying your natural talents until called on to share these talents. And ‘the guerrilla’ is in the air today, and this is about the potential emotional awareness and creative ability to support and maximise an inferior position through timely contact and withdrawal. All of which is based on using aesthetic sensitivity and mental detail to find the weakest point in a conflict and to then be able to exploit it emotionally in generative defence of the community. Plus ‘support’ is grounding us, which is about having the experience and awareness to offer assistance to others in times of decline. And here we get to see the application of reflection and abstract imagination to schemes which benefit others, which is all based on sharing emotions and feelings that make sense and can benefit others in times of crisis. The notself will be the kamikaze, lacking sensitivity, blundering into conflicts and only providing assistance if it is unavoidable.

At 9:30am 16^th (23:30gmt 15^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 27 ‘caring’ bringing movement and focus to ‘nourishment’ and this is the fuel for the support, defence and enhancement of the quality and substance of all activities through responsive caring. This is a powerful generative life force bringing energy for nourishment, as without nourishment and caring, nothing can survive, this is the drive to care and nourish as well as to be cared for and nourished. This is also the Gate of compassion, bringing the power to care for the weak, the sick and the young. And here we get to see pure impressive altruism in action, if this Gate had an archetype, it could be Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

At 8:55pm (10:55am gmt) the Moon shifts into conjunction with Jupiter in Gate 24 ‘rationalising’ bringing movement and focus to the recognition of the natural and spontaneous process of unique individual transformation and renewal. This is all about individual knowing and conceptualisation, which is quite a complex process, as it involves looking for ways to communicate unique awareness to the collective mind which just loves to generalise. Also before the inspiration can be communicated it needs to be given some sort of a rational form, and this is done by turning it over and over, pondering, until the energy is transformed into a rational form ready for empowered communication.

At 8:20am 17^th (22:20gmt 16^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 2 ‘higher knowing’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the receptive’ which is all about recognising individual receptivity as being a primal base through which any unique response is determined, and is the root of empowered action through love, identity and direction. This is the most yin or receptive of all the hexagrams and is the archetype of what the ancients would have referred to as the higher self, and is all about direction, not awareness, yes, the gods do love a joke, in that the Centre of the self is unaware, it is just doing what it does, holding us together in the illusion of our separateness and giving us our own unique direction and in turn is filled with the knowing and potential to continue evolving through direction.
