Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day starts still in the 5^th Line theme and then at 12:04pm (1:04am GMT) the Sun and Earth shift into the 6^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 43 and 23 bringing a theme of resting and recuperating, ready for what is coming next. And ‘breakthrough’ is in the air today, and this is bringing into play individual actualisation and centering, that when conceptual breakthrough occurs can naturally help to establish both internally and externally a unique new order, all of which is based in the recognition of unique knowing that is both personally and collectively of value. Plus ‘fusion’ is grounding us, and this is about the gradual individual attunement of unique diversity through synthesis. Here we get to see the exponential growth of energy and its power of assertion engendered by the expression of fusion, all of which is based in a conceptual individual knowing which brings diversity to synthesis. The notself will carry lesser attributes over into the new order, sticking to principles and withdrawing from fusion which will lead to atrophy, losing any power of expression.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 22 and at 7:10pm (8:10am GMT) she shifts into conjunction with Jupiter and Uranus in Gate 36 ‘crisis’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the darkening of the light’ with the potential emotional awareness to see the sense of the rule of cycles in which decline is a natural but not enduring stage. This brings an abstract potential of recognition through reflection on feelings that leads to the possibility of change, and looking for ways for conceptualisation to manifest directly as action. This can be a destabilising energy for the unaware, and this is where the crisis can arise from. Change and changes in feeling are natural for the abstract experiential process, and the ultimate role is to be the witness who remembers and reflects, as the shift of feelings determines the ending of a cycle, nothing more, and the recognition of this can only come through awareness. If the energy overwhelms this possibility, the change then becomes either something that is dreaded or embraced, both of which fuels expectations and inevitable crisis.

At 6:29am on the 17^th(19:29 GMT on the 16^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 25 ‘the spirit of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘innocence’, and the individual perfection of unique action through an uncontrived and spontaneous nature. This is where being centred in the now depends on the quality of innocence, and innocence is tested and empowered in the fire of competitive energy. And despite outward appearances the true competition here is whether the self can maintain its unique innocence despite circumstances. This is also the Gate of the shaman/priestess or spiritual warrior who loves all of existence without discrimination, this is where a flower can be loved as profoundly as a human, and this quality of love can be projected as cool or cold, and it is neither. The true mystical potential of this love is both transcendent and universal, and is based in the knowing that the spirit is always being tested. This is also the Gate of scars, which brings the potential of being wounded, exemplified by the warrior fool who leaps empty handed into the void, with only its innocence to carry it, with the hope that it will land on its feet. And yes the spirit can be broken, but triumph and survival enrich the spirit and result in the wonder of being.

At 4:20am on the 15^th (17:20 GMT on the 16^th) Mercury shifts into conjunction with Mars in Gate 5 ‘rhythms’ bringing communication in relation to ‘waiting’ the fundamental attunement to natural logical rhythms. And here we get to see and understand waiting as an active state of awareness in all of its glory. This Gate is the drive and fuel for the Tantra of sharing the rhythm of life, and brings into play the generative power to fix the natural pattern. This is all about the creativity, innate habits, daily rhythm and tempo that naturally move us into the future, and is never about establishing these patterns through any form of mental awareness, it is purely mechanical. In this context the role of awareness is to not identify with concepts that try to alter the natural pattern, as nothing should be allowed to interfere with natural creative patterns and how they are shared in life.
