Today's planetary update

Date: 16th July 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs (note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

It's still a 3rd line theme until 2:28pm today (see yesterday's blog for details) when the Sun and Earth will move into the 4th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 62 and 61, bringing an energy for networking and connecting with friends and associates. And ‘asceticism' is in the air today, and this is about sharing the logical expression of perfected ascetic withdrawal in the pursuit of harmony and simplicity. When entered into correctly, this is a space where outside dangers do not exist, and there is time to pursue inner meaning in detail, as detail can only be really expressed after periods of isolation and reflection. Plus ‘research' is grounding us today, with the empowering capacity of individual concentration to explore the depths of inspiration, knowing and inner truth. Which is based on the pressure to know fundamental principles, that can lead to maximising applications. The notself will jump to action against established values, caught in the illusion that collaboration will enhance inspiration.

The Moon is now in conjunction with Mars in Gate 47 ‘realising', bringing movement and focus to ‘oppression' which is the restrictive and adverse state resulting from internal weakness or external strength or both. And there is abstract mental pressure to make sense out of or conceptualise inspiration, and this always takes its own time and cannot be rushed, it is just a matter of waiting for the moment of realisation. And at 12:10pm the Moon will shift into Gate 6 ‘friction' bringing the focus onto ‘conflict' which is the fundamental design component of progress. This is based in the natural law that growth cannot exist without some sort of friction. And this is a powerful emotional energy, bringing feeling, emoting and sensitivity, and is about support and boundaries, who is allowed in and who is not. At 9:30pm she will shift into conjunction with Saturn in Gate 46 ‘the determination of the self' bringing the focus onto pushing upward, and the good fortune that may be perceived as the result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is also about the love of the body and the flesh, where by recognising that the body is the temple, you will always be in the right place at the right time.

Venus has now shifted into Gate 40 ‘aloneness', bringing the energy into play around values and worth in relation to ‘deliverance' which is the point of transition between struggle and liberation. This transit brings the power and will to be alone, even in a crowded room, and it is through this ability that communal situations can survive, and the key to thriving here is emotional support and loyalty.
