Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 5^th Line theme of Gates/hexagrams 61 and 62, and then at 9:45am 16^th (22:45gmt 15^th) they will move into the 6^th Lines bringing a theme for relaxing and recuperating from the last few days, and gazing off into the future, just don’t dismiss what you already have now. And ‘appeal’ is in the air today, and here we get to recognise a unique, profound and individual attunement to the collective that can lure the public to a truth. All of which is based in sharing inspiration and knowing that can bring clarity to the collective. Plus ‘self discipline’ is grounding us, and this is about the logical understanding that a penny saved is a penny earned, based in recognising detail as the path to material success. Here we get to see the understanding that material success for the future depends on the expression of detail. The notself will rely on shop worn slogans and clichés which fall on deaf ears, all from the delusion that inspiration can bring clarity to the collective, plus there will be the skills, but not the discipline to do the work necessary to succeed.

At 7:51 am 17^th (20:51gmt 16^th) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 1^st lines of Gates 60 and 56 bringing a theme for investigating and really checking things out thoroughly to ensure that the foundation is secure and deep enough to be relied on. For the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘acceptance’ and ‘limitation’, where the acceptance of limitation is the first step in transcendence, also the Sun will briefly be in conjunction with Mars for a day or so. And the Earth is grounding us in ‘stimulation’ and ‘the wanderer’ bringing stability through movement, with the perception of continuity through the linking of short term activities.

And ‘acceptance’ is in the air with this transit, and this the fuel for the unique individual ability to maintain inner harmony when confronted by external limitations, all of which is based in a knowing and harmonic energy that can creatively deal with external limitations in the now. Plus ‘quality’ is grounding us, and this is about the practical sense that even short term activities should be of value, all of which is based in the abstract expression of recognising from experience that practical ideas have value. The notself will have a drive for diversity, becoming restless and agitated if confronted with limitations, plus it will be restless and misuse energy in trivial pursuits driven by the ego to try and make an impression through expressing trivial ideas.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 20, and then at 11:04am (00:04am gmt) she will shift into Gate 16 ‘skills’ bringing movement and focus to enthusiasm, based in the great art of logically enriching life through the harmonic channelling of energy and expression. If this Gate had a voice, it would say ‘I experiment’, as it is all about finding some sort of logical understanding through focusing on, observing and practicing patterns. Here we can experience an expression of constant experimentation, and repetition, doing something over and over, which can eventually master it, finding perfected manifestation and expression. This is the hexagram of music, dance and art, yet is not specifically about the arts, as it is inherently about the skills for living, this is about having a talent for life.

At 9:21pm (10:21am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 35, meeting up with Uranus in Gate 36 Defining the Solar Plexus and Throat Centres with the Channel of Transitoriness, a ‘design of being a Jack of all trades’, and this is a powerful experiential manifesting emotional awareness potential for action. And here we get to see life being rich in abstract experience, though poor in meeting the expectations of the mind or of others. There is a deep talent for sensing adventure here, and the only goal of any value is the wisdom that nothing lasts, and this wisdom is gained through many and varied experiences, and these experiences are part of a wider plan that can bring depth.

At 7:31am 17^th (20:31gmt 16^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 45 ‘the gatherer’ bringing movement and focus to ‘gathering together’ which is all about naturally attracting generally beneficial like forces that will support manifestation and expression. This is the Gate of hierarchical dominance, and can be seen as the archetype of the king or queen, the empress or emperor, the autocratic tribal leader, who is busy looking after the welfare of the community. If this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I have’ or ‘we have’, and is an expression of the material wellbeing of the community, benevolently sharing materially with the community.

At 2:25am 17^th (15:25gmt 16^th) Mercury shifts into conjunction with Pluto in Gate 58 ‘aliveness’ bringing communication into play in relation to ‘the joyous’, where logical understanding and stimulation is the key to joy. This is fuel for taste, both physically and metaphorically and is also the Gate of vitality, bringing a zest for life and living, looking for ways to share and create a better life, which is most often done by using criticism to challenge conditioning and improve on it. All of this challenging and drive for improvement is anchored in not being satisfied in the now, always looking toward the future. Also there is a real love of life that creates a strong drive to be of service to the wider community in some way, as there is a strong pressure to commit energy to a process even though there is a lack of awareness as to what and where.
