Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

Today begins with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 3^rd Line theme, and then at 7:31pm (8:31am gmt) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 4^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 30 and 29 bringing a theme for some friendly networking that could result in opportunities. And ‘burnout’ is in the air today, and this is about recognising and sensing an unrealistic pace that begs misfortune. All of which is based in a compulsive and hyperactive nature that carries all the earmarks of experiential burnout, but does not necessarily arrive at it. A positive outcome is often assisted through abstract analysis, otherwise these highly energised feelings may lead to emotional collapse. Plus ‘directness’ is grounding us, and here we get to experience that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, and this is based in the sense and wisdom to use the simplest and most direct approach to solve abstract difficulties. This is the creative generative power to commit oneself to the simplest and most direct process. The notself will expand uncontrollably, inevitable bursting the bubble, plus being simplistic and direct will be seen as inharmonic and aesthetically crude, often offending others.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 62 and 2:14pm (3:14am gmt) she will shift into Gate 56 ‘stimulation’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the wanderer’ and this is where we get to sense and see how stability comes through the recognition and expression of movement. Here we have the perpetuation of abstract continuity through the linking of short term activity based on past reflection. This is an abstract metamorphic expression and if it had a voice this Gate would say ‘I believe’ and is all about making sense of and translating the human experience into language so that it can be shared, I often wonder if Martin Luther King had this Gate? Here we see the abstract expression of ideas, and ideas are never facts, and cannot be substantiated by a formula, the idea is never a solution, but always the journey. This is a pure mental awareness that has nothing to do with action, it is purely about recognising, making sense of, and translating human experience into language, and once the idea is expressed verbally it is the end of the process.

At 11:33pm (12:33gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 31 ’leading’ bringing movement and focus to ‘influence’ which is based in the logical law of friction, whether active or passive, this friction engenders transference and thus influence, understanding and sharing. And if this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I lead’, as it is always looking for ways to manifest future influence, and it will always have to wait for someone to recognise this, as this Gate has no access to any primary energy for action to be able to back itself up, so will often end up making purely verbal claims. This is the recognised democratic elected leader, a true representative of the people, who logically understands trends and patterns and is able to present and express them in such a way that everyone can understand and follow.

At 8:47am 17^th (21:47gmt 16^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 33 ‘privacy’ bringing movement and  focus to ‘retreat’ which is about active withdrawal for reflection that can transform a weak position into a strength. And if this Throat Centre Gate had a voice it would say ‘I remember’, and is the voice of the abstract witness that could be likened to the prodigal child, who leaves home, giving up their birthright to wander and learn and then returns home many years later much the wiser and is accepted back into the fold so that the wisdom they have garnered during their experience can be expressed and shared through remembrance bringing them recognition. Here we see the need of regular time alone to reflect on the past, so that the past experiences can be processed and made sense of.

At 12:29pm (1:59am gmt) Mars shifts into conjunction with the Sun and Neptune in Gate 30 ‘recognition of feeling’ bringing maturation and mutation in relation to ‘the clinging fire’ where freedom is recognised as an abstract illusion and limitation accepted as fate. There is also a desire and thirst for destiny and a hunger for change through the potential of sensing emotional awareness and realisation. Also through the recognition of emotional potential and feeling comes the conceptual potential for change, all of which takes time and happens in a wave where the emotions move from high to low, back to high and so on. This is the Gate where we get to meet fate, and the yearning for change so as to escape pain and find hope, is a curse of the fates. Yet it is between these two highly energised emotions of hope and pain that the true potential for experiential emotional awareness lies, and this is the potential awareness to recognise a feeling and leave it’s outcome in the hands of the fates.
