Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

At 8:45am (21:45gmt 15th) the Sun and Earth moved into the 2nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 11 and 12 bringing into play a theme of being shyly, busily absorbed in your own natural talents until the time is right to boldly share them. And ‘rigour’ is in the air, and this is about the awareness and recognition that without vigilance and risk, conceptual peace can lead to shared stagnation and collapse. All of which is based in refection on the past and abstract imagination being applied to ensuring the sensing and understanding of the achieved values, instead of the sense of boredom with stagnation. Plus ‘purification’ is grounding us today, and here we get to express unique and individual rigorous withdrawal from negative influences. All of which is based in the knowing and transformational discipline to maintain a pure state, metamorphosising in manifesting as the expression of disciplined social caution in the now. The notself will resort to factionalism, provoking to escape boredom, and caution can manifest as boredom and the expressed desire for stimulus.

At 6:52am 17th (19:52gmt 16th) the Sun and Earth move into the 3rd Lines bringing a theme for developing material resilience through a process of trial and error. And ‘the realist’ is in the air today, and this is about the acknowledgement of the sense that peace is abstract and transitory. All of which leads to the internal awareness and renewal to maintain strength and alertness, based in the recognition and realisation that concepts and ideas come and go and are to be shared. Plus ‘confession’ is grounding us, and this is about the unique process of individual self-analysis, based in the recognition of inadequacies and the purging of unjustified vanities in the now. Here we get to see the expression of the manifestation of inadequacies in social interaction that leads to self analysis, knowing and caution. The notself will be deluded, trying to hold onto harmony, ‘fiddling while Rome burns’, anything to avoid reality, plus feeling inadequate in social interactions to the point of a perverse and often exaggerated self hatred.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 29 and at 3:13pm (4:13am gmt) she will shift into Gate 59 ‘sexuality’ bringing movement and focus to ‘dispersion’, and this is the generative life force that supports the ability to break down barriers to achieve union. Here is also the fuel for expressed sexuality and/or creativity, and being able to break down barriers through response, so as to bring something new to the community. There is also a desire for intimacy which can manifest as anything from shyness, brotherhood/sisterhood, the femme fatale/Casanova, to the one night stand and a few others in between. Waiting is always the key here, jumping into bonds prematurely will only lead to surface intimacy which is never going to be satisfying.

At 3:08am 17th (14:08gmt 16th) the Moon shifts into Gate 40  ‘aloneness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘deliverance’ which can be recognised as support for the point of transition between struggle and liberation. This transit highlights willpower and brings social caution and a real liking for being alone, and this can show up as being happily alone, even in a crowded room. The actress Greta Garbo might have had this Gate, famously saying “I just want to be alone”. Having a good balance of work and rest is also important for this Gate as it brings the ability to work hard for the right reasons, and then needs to rest well to be ready for what comes next. Healthy boundaries are also required here so as not to over extend when it comes to supporting the tribe and community.
