Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

Today begins with the Sun and Earth moving through the 2^nd Line theme, and then at 00:37am on the 17^th (13:57 GMT on the 16^th) they will shift into the 3^rd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 11 and 12 bringing a theme for developing material resilience through a process of trial and error. And ‘the realist’ is in the air today, and this is about the acknowledgement of the sense that peace is abstract and transitory. All of which leads to the internal awareness and renewal to maintain strength and alertness, based in the recognition and realisation that concepts and ideas come and go and are to be shared. Plus ‘confession’ is grounding us, and this is about the unique process of individual self-analysis, based in the recognition of inadequacies and the purging of unjustified vanities in the now. Here we get to see the expression of the manifestation of inadequacies in social interaction that leads to self analysis, knowing and caution. The notself will be deluded, trying to hold onto harmony, ‘fiddling while Rome burns’, anything to avoid reality, plus feeling inadequate in social interactions to the point of a perverse and often exaggerated self hatred.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 51 and at 11:42am (00:42am GMT) she shifts into Gate 42 ‘growth’ bringing movement and focus to ‘increase’ and this is the fuel for the abstract expansion of existing resources which in turn maximises the development of the creative potential sensed in the beginning. This is also the Gate of bringing things to a close, so that after reflection the next step can be taken, as using this creative generative power to complete a cycle is the heart of the growth process. And if there was a Mantra for this Gate it would be ‘one thing at a time’, which is about fully completing one thing before you move on, so as not to end up caught in a cycle of trying to tie up loose ends.

At 10:45pm (11:45am GMT) the Moon shifts into Gate 3 ‘ordering’ bringing movement and focus to ‘difficulty at the beginning’ and this is a creative generative life force energy where the fundamental challenge of individual initiation is to transcend confusion and establish order and knowing. This is the fuel for empowered mutation, or evolutionary growth and change, which starts out as a confused energy, in the sense that it is unsubstantiated, because like the individual insight it is unique and has to find its form. Here we also get to see the fulfilment of knowing through individual expression, where being a unique example brings changes and mutation to all who come into contact with it, as this is the basis of cultural mutation.
