Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day starts out moving through the tail end of Gates 42 and 32, and then at 5:17am 17^th (17:17gmt 16^th) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 3 and 50, bringing a theme for digging in and investigating things to really see if there is a good solid foundation to build on. For the next six days the Sun will shine in ‘ordering’ and ‘difficulty at the beginning’, where the fundamental challenge of initiation is to transcend confusion and establish order. The Earth will ground us in ‘values’ and the cauldron’, where the value of historical continuity is in traditional values serving and enriching the present and future.

And ‘synthesis’ is in the air today, and this is about the knowing that creative generative difficulties can only be overcome when all the pertinent factors have been analysed. All of which is based in the unique understanding that individual confusion is natural and must always exist before clarity can be achieved, as there is an innate knowing that order will emerge out of the confusion. Plus ‘the immigrant’ is grounding us, and here we see the creative generative humbleness of origin that benefits awareness rather than restricts destiny. All of which is based in the instinctive desire to be effective and successful that builds on and is supported by the most fundamental strengths while it refines its nature, this is the awareness that growth and refinement of values will protect, nurture and benefit destiny. The notself will rely on intellect at the expense of intuition, dissatisfied and embarrassed with origins, driven by an obsession with refinement.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 6, and at 2:14pm (4:14am gmt) she will shift into Gate 46 ‘the determination of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self or identity.

At 11:07pm (13:07gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 18 meeting up with Pluto in Gate 18 Defining the Root and Spleen Centres with the Channel of judgement, a ‘design of insatiability’ bringing movement and focus to the logical pressure and drive to find tasteful knowing. And this can be a very critical transit, and the key to giving and gaining understanding is to accept that it is best to not offer to share criticisms unless asked. Challenging life is not everyone's cup of tea, and if the criticism has been invited it will be well received. There is also an insatiable drive for perfection here, which can turn into analysis paralysis, so watch out for that one.  And remember judgement for judgement sake is best applied in the public sector, and not applied to oneself or other individuals.

At 8:00am 17^th (22:00gmt 16^th) the Moon shifts into conjunction with Saturn in Gate 48 ‘depth’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘the well’, this is the necessary and qualitative logical foundation that is a prerequisite to establish a shared common good. Here there is also the intuitive awareness possibility to be able to store vital information as a logical pattern ready for sharing, and without depth to what is stored the common good can never be satisfied. This depth is a resource pool with the awareness possibility to store vital information as a pattern for future use, and the depth here is totally dependent on what results from the process of judgement, and finding avenues for potential expression and sharing, through recognition. There is also the possibility to recognise in the now which patterns are vital to concentrate and focus on as the very foundation of logical talent, is understanding and depth that is available purely in the moment, and is based on the potential to judge a situation in the now. And much can be shared out of this depth, everything from trivia, to generalisations, to vital information.

At 11:37am (1:37am gmt) Mercury shifts into conjunction with Mars in Gate 21 ‘the hunter/huntress’ bringing communication into play in relation to the will and ‘biting through’, and this is where we could see the justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference in the community. This is the ego fuel that supports the power for life on the material plane, and demands to be in control of food, clothing and shelter. This Gate hates to have anyone looking over its shoulder, the hunter/huntress has the ego drive to dominate, and if it had a voice it would say ‘I control’ as when in a situation where it has no control, it’s power can never be fulfilled. This is where control supports and brings fulfilment, and if not in control of how a living is earned, success is always far away.

At 2:39am 17^th (15:39gmt 16^th) Uranus moves into the 5^th Line of Gate 25 bringing a sidetracking influence to love, direction, identity and ‘recuperation’, when individual innocence is sapped of its vitality, unique healing is the first priority. All of which is based in the centred and individuated ability to recognise the inner meaning of an affliction and to knowingly withdraw until it is healed in the now. The notself will be the hypochondriac through weakness of spirit.
