Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin our day in the very early stages of the 6^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 47 and 22 which is in yesterdays blog, and then at 5:50am 16^th (19:50gmt 15^th) the Sun and Earth shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 6 and 36 bringing an theme for being introspectively involved in research and investigation to create a secure foundation. And for the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘friction’ and ‘conflict’ which are the fundamental design components of any progress, based in the law that growth cannot exist without friction. Plus the Earth is grounding us in ‘crisis’ and ‘darkening of the light’ bringing into play the rule of cycles in which decline is a natural but not enduring stage. Also both of these Gates are on the Solar Plexus Centre, so emotions could run at a high.

And ‘retreat’ is in the air today, which is about the realisation that wasting valuable resources by trying to defend against overwhelming odds is not courage but folly. This is where we get to see the power of regeneration that can support and embrace retreat as a phase and not a failure, based in the potential emotional awareness and stability to accept conflict within the community. Plus ‘resistance’ is grounding us, and this is about the sense, energy and abstract determination to persevere in the face of opposition. All of which is based in the potential emotional awareness and power to reflect on the past and handle experiential crisis. The notself will be plagued with instability and inferiority complexes, as well as being stuck in over principled resistance to change.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 51 and at 10:40am (00:40am gmt)she shifts into Gate 42 ‘growth’ bringing movement and focus to ‘increase’ and this is the fuel for the abstract expansion of existing resources which in turn maximises the development of the creative potential sensed in the beginning. This is also the Gate of bringing things to a close, so that after reflection the next step can be taken, as using this creative generative power to complete a cycle is the heart of the growth process. And if there was a Mantra for this Gate it would be ‘one thing at a time’, which is about fully completing one thing before you move on, so as not to end up caught in a cycle of trying to tie up loose ends.

At 10:04pm (12:04gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 3 ‘ordering’ bringing movement and focus to ‘difficulty at the beginning’ and this is a creative generative life force energy where the fundamental challenge of individual initiation is to transcend confusion and establish order and knowing. This is the fuel for empowered mutation, or evolutionary growth and change, which starts out as a confused energy, in the sense that it is unsubstantiated, because like the individual insight it is unique and has to find its form. Here we also get to see the fulfilment of knowing through individual expression, where being a unique example brings changes and mutation to all who come into contact with it, as this is the basis of cultural mutation.

At 6:29am 16^th (20:29gmt 15^th) Mercury shifts into Gate 64 ‘confusion’ bringing communication into play in relation to 'before completion', and this is about the recognition that transition, like giving birth, requires a determined strength for the passage through. This transit brings an abstract mental pressure to sense and resolve inspiration and find awareness out of experience. In this context confusion is not a negative thing, it simply means that the mind is busy, busy, busy with a great deal of data, most of which is superfluous. And this data requires filtering to relieve the pressure and find the gems of clarity to be shared. This is also about fully experiencing the present in order to reflect upon it, when it is past.
