Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Today starts with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 1^st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 32 and 42 and at 2:42pm (3:42am GMT) they will move into the 2^nd Lines bringing a theme for being self involved in whatever you are naturally talented at and enjoy, until you are called on to share it. And ‘restraint’ is in the air today, and this is about the control of power that supports the benefit and enhancement of harmony within the tribe and community, all of which is based in instinctive knowing and potential for transformation that may be recognised as beneficial to others. Plus ‘identification’ is grounding us, and here we get to see the abstract recognition and acute capitalisation of sensing trends, based in observing past experiences. And this in turn leads to creative and generative power for growth being available through participation in trends. The notself will withdraw out of frustration at being controlled, stopping growth as a reaction to trends or change.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 61 and at 6:13pm (7:13am GMT) she will shift into Gate 60 ‘acceptance’ bringing the focus onto ‘limitation’, where the knowing, recognition and acceptance of limitation is the first step in individual transcendence. This is about the unique growth that comes through releasing limited amounts of energy, manifesting as power bursts rather than sustained flows. This fuel comes in a pulse, for example it could be seen that knowing is there, and then it is not, and it is the spaces in between the knowing that allow for empowered evolutionary growth and change to take place. Miles Davis, the Jazz musician, understood this through music, he said that the mystery of music is in the space between the notes, and from a Human Design perspective, it is in the space between that the mutation that moves us forward into the new takes place.

At 5:24am on the 16^th (18:24 GMT on the 15^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 41 meeting up with Neptune in Gate 30, Defining the Root and Solar Plexus Centres with the Channel of recognition, a ‘design of focused energy’ and this is a powerful emotional drive, bringing movement and focus to abstract dreams and fantasies, and the main lessons here are to not try and make sense of the dreams or to try and make them come true. Also don’t expect emotional desires to bring lasting peace, as true peace is to simply enjoy the dreams themselves. And there is an endless yearning to feel in order to learn as this is where wisdom is gained through exploring all kinds of feelings, and often the way to stir feelings is through sharing dreams and wishes. There can also be a restless or nervousness as a result of this direct connection of a physical pressure Centre to the emotional Centre, and the biggest lesson can be patience and composure.

At 8:30pm (9:30am GMT) Mercury shifts into conjunction with the Sun in Gate 32 ‘continuity’ bringing communication in relation to ‘duration’ and the knowing that the only thing which endures is change. This is the awareness potential in the now to instinctively adapt without losing support or continuity. Also in play is instinctive imprinting that shows up as a very conservative energy which is based on instinctively supporting the survival both socially and individually of the community on the material plane. This can also bring prolonged indecision based in this conservative reliance that can end up agonising over the risks of being driven toward transformation. And this is where, even with recognition and knowing, there is no rush to embrace the revolution, but if the revolution succeeds and is accepted, instinctive adaptation will take place, while still maintaining basic nature. There is also the potential knowing awareness here for what can and cannot be transformed in the now.

At 5:05pm (6:05am GMT) Jupiter moves into the 3^rd Line of Gate 36 ‘transition’ bringing rules and laws into play in relation to being able to sense the reaching of the point at which decline has exhausted its power. This is the abstract ability to establish a new order out of the ashes of the old, based in experience and the potential emotional depth and awareness to endure crisis and embrace change and manifestation. The notself be unable to let go of the past.

At 6:49pm (7:49am GMT) Saturn shifts into the 1^st Line of Gate 48 ‘depth’ bringing into play learnings in relation to ‘the well’ which is about establishing the necessary and qualitative foundation that is a prerequisite to establish the common good. And ‘insignificance’, is also a theme and this is about having an instinctive knowing and awareness that perfects the taste, understanding and recognition of what is practical and logically deserves attention for the future. The notself will apply energy to trivial considerations.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.
