Today's planetary update

We begin our day with the Sun and Earth in the 6th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 23 and 43, bringing an energy that could have you gazing off to the horizon, looking for what is next, just be careful or you might trip over what is already at your feet. And one of today's themes is the gradual attunement of diversity which can take place through synthesis, leading to the exponential growth of energy and the power of assertion that can be engendered by fusion. This is where individual knowing empowers diversity to synthesize. Plus actualisation and centring helps to establish a new order both internally and externally. And this is a natural by-product of breakthrough, which is based in unique knowing that is both personally and collectively of value. The notself will futilely withdraw, justifying lesser attributes.

Then at 8:35pm the Sun and Earth shift into the Incarnation Cross of Contagion and the 1st Lines of Gate 8 and 14, bringing an energy for digging into things, doing research and establishing a strong foundation, ready to build on. A strong theme here is making a contribution that will bring security and wealth, and in this context contribution is all about being an example and taking individual responsibility. And basic worth can be realised through attracting the right attention and the contribution of individual efforts to empowering group goals. Plus applying ‘power skills' based on the correct use of life force energy can lead to ‘possession in great measure', or another way of seeing it would be the accumulation and retention of power through skilled interaction coupling grace with control.

Honesty is also a theme, where the truthful acceptance of limitation can only be transcended through sharing, built on the awareness that the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts, and knowing that creative expression must be honestly communicated and shared. Plus there is the knowing that money isn't everything, and the recognition that wealth has its own problems. Here the lust for lucre is tempered by higher principles, and the key to manifesting power comes through applying life force energy to higher principles. The notself will lose individuality in the group, deluded and throwing money at problems.

The Moon is in Gate 16 ‘skills', bringing the focus onto enthusiasm and the great art of enriching life by the harmonic channelling of energy, this is all about trying out different things to find something that can really be identified with. Then through logically understanding the pattern and becoming absorbed in practice or repetition, mastery can be attained and then shared.

Mercury is now in the 2nd line of Gate 27 ‘self sufficiency', bringing communication about the obvious law that to give, one must first of all have. And an archetype that fits this supportive life energy is that of the Mother, the great nourisher who has the strength to nurture and the power to care. The notself will be the needy child depleting resources.

This is planetary weather, it's passing through, let your Strategy and Inner Authority lead the way to your own unique experience of life.
