Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The Sun and Earth are still moving through the 2^nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 36 and 6 and then at 9:40pm (10:40am gmt) they will move into the 3^rd Lines bringing a theme for developing resilience through trial and error, which may also lead to some materially beneficial discoveries. And ‘transition’ is in the air today, and this is about sensing the point at which decline has exhausted its power. All of which is based in the experiential ability to take action and establish a new order out of the ashes of the old, as there is the abstract emotional depth to endure crisis and embrace change. Plus ‘allegiance’ is grounding us, and this is the creative generative ability to secure support and create strength out of a weak position. All of which is based in the destruction of old emotional forms through union, either mundane sexual union or an exalted universalisation type of union. Here we get to see the depth of feelings that can enrich and defend union and intimacy. The notself will try to assimilate the remains of the old order, risking the new through being unable to let go of the past, rejecting allegiance and intimacy through sensitivity to control.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 53 and at (3:39am gmt) she shifts into Gate 62 ‘detail’ bringing movement and focus to ‘preponderance of the small’, which is all about expressing logical caution, patience and detail to produce understanding and excellence out of limitation. If this Gate had a voice it would say ‘I think’, which is based in being able to communicate and share concepts from a mechanical capacity for detail. This is where opinions can manifest as words, and things can be given their names, solidifying their existence in the Maia, which aids the collective in understanding the world, as without names, there can be no understanding or sharing, this is the Gate of the development of language which is the common ground for sharing of the human experience.

At 00:22am 16^th (13:22gmt 15^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 56 ‘stimulation’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the wanderer’ and this is where we get to sense and see how stability comes through the recognition and expression of movement. Here we have the perpetuation of abstract continuity through the linking of short term activity based on past reflection. This is an abstract metamorphic expression and if it had a voice this Gate would say ‘I believe’ and is all about making sense of and translating the human experience into language so that it can be shared, I often wonder if Martin Luther King had this Gate? Here we see the abstract expression of ideas, and ideas are never facts, and cannot be substantiated by a formula, the idea is never a solution, but always the journey. This is a pure mental awareness that has nothing to do with action, it is purely about recognising, making sense of, and translating human experience into language, and once the idea is expressed verbally it is the end of the process.

At 10:50am 15^th (23:50gmt 14^th) Mercury shifts into conjunction with Jupiter in Gate 21 ‘the hunter/huntress’ bringing communication into play in relation to ‘biting through’, and this is where we could see the justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference in the community. This is the ego fuel that supports the power for life on the material plane, and demands to be in control of food, clothing and shelter. This Gate hates to have anyone looking over its shoulder, the hunter/huntress has the ego drive to dominate, and if it had a voice it would say ‘I control’ as when in a situation where it has no control, it’s power can never be fulfilled. This is where control supports and brings fulfilment, and if not in control of how a living is earned, success is always far away.
