Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day still in the early stages of the 5^th Line theme and then at 4:17am 16^th (18:17gmt 15^th) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 6^th Line of Gates 42 and 32 bringing a theme for kicking back and resting and recuperating, ready for the next cycle. And ‘nurturing’ is in the air today, and this is about a natural creative generative and instinctive nurturing of others. All of which is based in the past sensing of the power to share the abstract process of growth with others. Plus ‘tranquility’ is grounding us, and here we recognise the need to calmly face impermanence, supported by an underlying acceptance of change that may or may not lead to tranquillity. All of which is based in an instinctive awareness to accept change and transformation in the community. The notself will have a restrictive and malefic materialism that is self alienating and encourages aggression, depressed and deluded over meanininglessness, and fearful of change.

The Moon is still shifting through Gate 40, and then at 11:15am (1:15am gmt) she will shift into Gate 64 ‘confusion’ bringing movement and focus to 'before completion', and this is about the recognition that transition, like giving birth, requires a determined strength for the passage through. This transit brings an abstract mental pressure to sense and resolve inspiration and find awareness out of experience. In this context confusion is not a negative thing, it simply means that the mind is busy, busy, busy with a great deal of data, most of which is superfluous. And this data requires filtering to relieve the pressure and find the gems of clarity to be shared. This is also about fully experiencing the present in order to reflect upon it, when it is past.

At 8:18pm (10:18am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 47 ‘realising', bringing movement and focus to ‘oppression' which is the restrictive and adverse abstract state resulting from internal weakness or external strength or both. And this is a mental pressure, that is looking to make sense of and find conceptual realisation out of experiential inspiration, which may not be such a comfortable process, as it will always take its own time and cannot be rushed. Here we get to see that it is really just a matter of waiting for the moment of realisation to come, and then once the realising has been done and facts found to substantiate it, the rewards are worth it. Also this Gate can create a lot of mental stress and anxiety based in trying to make sense out of past experience, and not being able to put the full picture together, and the secret here is to have patience and surrender to the cyclical nature of this process, and then the ‘aha’ moment of recognition and realisation will appear.

At 5:18am 16^th (19:18gmt 15^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 6 ‘friction’ bringing movement and focus to ‘conflict’, as the fundamental design component of progress, and this is based in the law of nature that new growth cannot exist without some sort of friction to stimulate it. This is a very complex energy as it has an enormous awareness potential, bringing out feeling, emoting and sensitivity, which are all part of our evolved genetic defence reflex. This is a powerful emotional possibility and is also about supportive boundaries, focusing on who is in and who is out, and developing awareness of the timing of dropping barriers to support intimacy. Also this transit clearly shows that it is only through authentic awareness that the true nature of intimacy can be transformed.

At 11:40am (1:40am gmt) Venus shifts into Gate 36 ‘crisis’ bringing worth and values into play in relation to ‘the darkening of the light’ with the potential emotional awareness to see the sense of the rule of cycles in which decline is a natural but not enduring stage. This brings an abstract potential of recognition through reflection on feelings that leads to the possibility of change, and looking for ways for conceptualisation to manifest directly as action. This can be a destabilising energy for the unaware, and this is where the crisis can arise from. Change and changes in feeling are natural for the abstract experiential process, and the ultimate role is to be the witness who remembers and reflects, as the shift of feelings determines the ending of a cycle, nothing more, and the recognition of this can only come through awareness. If the energy overwhelms this possibility, the change then becomes either something that is dreaded or embraced, both of which fuels expectations and inevitable crisis.
