Today's planetary update

Date: 15th April 2010

The Sun and Earth have now moved into the Incarnation Cross of Limitation, and the 5th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 42 and 32. This brings an energy where strangers can bring surprising influences today, just be careful of projections. The limitations this transit brings are around the measuring of life, where we begin and end, what is safe and what is not, this and that in the many and varied themes that all of existence can be measured on. This is about the deep knowing that through accepting innate limitations, success can be achieved, through knowing what can be completed and what should be left alone. And self actualisation comes through growth that is self fulfilling and naturally leads to influence, this is a about following a natural path that brings the reward of a healthy sense of self first and foremost, then power and influence may follow. Plus flexibility is in the air, where superficiality is a valuable tool, that while masking the inner light permits for adaption to prevailing conditions, leading to instinctive adaption in times of change and easy adaption to circumstances. The notself will be reclusive, rejecting adaption.

The Moon is in Gate 3 ‘difficulty at the beginning', bringing an energy where the fundamental challenge of initiation is to transcend confusion and establish order, this is a very unique energy which can take time to find its form, and when it does it leads to continued survival. Individual expression is also a focus and through example this can bring about change and mutation to our culture. At 12:40pm she moves into Gate 27 ‘nourishment', bringing the enhancement of the quality and the substance of all activities through caring. Without nourishment and caring nothing would survive, and we are moved to this at a tribal level. This is a very compassionate transit, bringing the power to care for the weak, and altruism can come to the fore. Then at 11:08pm she moves into Gate 24 ‘rationalising', bringing an energy for the natural and spontaneous process of transformation and renewal. And communicating unique awareness can bring some pressure to find a rational form for inspirations. Pondering is the key here, turning whatever it is over and over until the light bulb moment of clarity arrives.

At 1:19pm Mars moves into the 6th Line of Gate 31 'application', bringing a focus onto how mutation and maturing can take place through the law of friction, whether active or passive, that engenders transference and thus influence. It's a time for application, where actions need to match words, expression and action must be one and the same, as it is only through walking the talk that success will show up.

Observe the dance of the planets through the cosmos, feel how the energies shift and move, and don't identify with them, it's like the weather passing through, and your Strategy and Inner Authority is your umbrella in the storms of life.
