Today's planetary update

Date: 14th May 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

Today the Sun and Earth have moved into the Incarnation Cross of Dedication and the 5th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 23 and 43, bringing a very attractive and seductive energy where you never really know what you are getting. And today expansion and contribution come through assimilation, leading to the practical acceptance of the values of another path. And there can also be a gift for communicating individual insight, knowing and concepts to the collective. Plus progression comes through step by step adaptation to relationships which hinder breakthrough. And the progress that shows up is through taking practical actions which do not jeopardise eventual success. There can also be a gift of knowing when a unique insight can be shared effectively with others and when not. The notself will feel inferior and look for protection, turning to harmony instead of breakthrough.

The Moon is conjunct the Sun in Gate 23 ‘assimilation', bringing the focus onto amorality and splitting apart, where awareness and understanding lead to the acceptance of diversity. And this is based on the fact that insight and knowing is unique and individual so needs to be expressed in a way that communicates its essence to the collective, and if this is done well intolerance can be eliminated. Also the Moon finishes her waning phase with a New Moon at 11:05am. Then at 1:30pm she moves into Gate 8 ‘contribution', bringing the focus onto holding together. And this is where basic worth is realised through contributing individual efforts to group goals. All of which is based in knowing and best done through being an example as opposed to telling others how it should be. At 11:32pm she moves into Gate 20 ‘the now', bringing the focus onto contemplation and recognition and awareness in the now. All of which transforms understanding into right action, and this is an extremely existential energy, and is without awareness, just speaking and acting in the now, expressing individual knowing in the now.

Venus has shifted into Gate 12 ‘caution', bringing values and standards around standstill as an important quality of restraint, and the importance of meditation and inaction in confronting temptation. Doing nothing is the key, withdrawing and waiting to see where and when to express unique insights and knowing brings empowerment for self and others. And there is a powerful mystery in standstill, just being present in the now carries such unknown potential, just waiting for the right timing for expression, and is ultimately very empowering. The notself will be melancholy and feel not heard.

Mars has moved into the 6th Line of Gate 7 ‘the administrator', bringing a maturing and mutating energy to the ability to share and justly apportion power. This is the power of the Self in its role of communicating the frameworks of responsibility, and this can become leadership through sharing logical direction for the future. The notself will end up with instability through lust for power.

At 10:57pm Jupiter moves into the 5th line of Gate 36 ‘the underground', bringing rules and laws around perfecting survival regardless of conditions, and this leads to having an immunity to crisis in both the generator and survivor. This is a strong experiential emotional theme with a lot of projection and practicality is needed, which can lead to sharing what has been learned upon reflection. The notself will be nervous, leading to self betrayal.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don't have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It's your life!
