Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day begins on the very tail end of Gates/hexagrams 45 and 26, and then at 9:51am (23:51gmt 13^th) the Sun and Earth shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 12 and 11 bringing a theme for investigating and researching to ensure that there is a secure foundation to build on. For the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘caution’ and ‘standstill’ where we see the quality of restraint and the importance of mediation and inaction in confronting temptation. And the Earth is grounding us in ‘ideas’ and ‘peace’ with the harmonic condition in the individual or society that permits assessment before renewed action.

‘And ‘the monk’ is in the air today, and this is the unique expression of individual withdrawal that can only be maintained by communal support. All of which is based in the empowerment, beauty and harmony possible beyond the reach of temptation. This is the expression of social withdrawal and its manifesting value when supported by others in the now. Plus ‘attunement’ is grounding us, and here we recognise awareness of the serendipity for being in the right place at the right time. All of which is based in the abstract nourishment derived from being with those who sense and share the same concepts, goals and aspirations. This is also the gift for finding through reflection on past experience those who will value your ideas. The notself will go for total and often absurd withdrawal, fearing anonymity and no one valuing their ideas.

At 9:25am 15^th (23:25gmt 15^th) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 2^nd lines of Gates 12 and 11 bringing a theme for being a bit of a hermit, happily absorbed in your natural talents until the right call comes for you to share them with others. And ‘purification’ is in the air, and this is the individual expression of unique and rigorous withdrawal from negative influences. All of which is based in the empowered discipline to maintain a pure state. This is the manifestation and expression of disciplined social caution in the now. Plus ‘rigour’ is grounding us, and here we see the aware recognition that without individual vigilance and risk, peace can lead to stagnation and collapse. All of which is based in the conceptual abstract imagination being applied to ensuring the sensing and understanding of achieved values. There can also be where a sense of boredom is overcome through the imagination and reflection on past experience. The notself will be bored over lack of stimulation, resorting to factionalism to satisfy the ego’s need for action.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 14 and then at 12:52pm (2:52am gmt) she will shift into Gate 34 meeting up with Venus in Gate 20 Defining the Sacral and Throat Centres with the Channel of charisma, a ‘design where thoughts must become deeds’, and this is a powerful creative generative fuel that can manifest through unique individual response and expression, this is the true 'power of now'. All of which is based in using this immense power by being busy doing something that you really love, as then you radiate charisma and empowerment, even though at the same time you are unavailable as you are already busy doing whatever it is that you are doing in the now.

At 10:22pm (12:22pm gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 9 ‘focus’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the taming power of the small’ and this is where logical potential can be fulfilled and shared through understanding and detailed attention to all the pertinent aspects. This brings a fuel for determination, and the creative generative power to maintain focus, especially on those details that can carry us into the future. This Gate brings an ability for prolonged focus and detailed work, as long as the discipline of sitting still can be maintained. 'God is in the detail' could be this Gate's mantra, and it must be the right detail that has come to you through your Strategy and Inner Authority.

At 7:54am 15^th (21:54gmt 14^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 5 ‘rhythms’ bringing movement and focus to ‘waiting’ the fundamental attunement to natural logical rhythms. And here we get to see and understand waiting as an active state of awareness in all of its glory. This Gate is the drive and fuel for the Tantra of sharing the rhythm of life, and brings into play the generative power to fix the natural pattern. This is all about the creativity, innate habits, daily rhythm and tempo that naturally move us into the future, and is never about establishing these patterns through any form of mental awareness, it is purely mechanical. In this context the role of awareness is to not identify with concepts that try to alter the natural pattern, as nothing should be allowed to interfere with natural creative patterns and how they are shared in life.

At 5:42pm (7:42am gmt) Venus shifts into Gate 16 meeting up with Saturn in Gate 48 Defining the Spleen and Throat Centres with the Channel of the wavelength, a ‘design of talent’, bringing learning’s about values and worth in relation to the logical expression of taste, talent, skill, depth and awareness. And here we get to see how talent is earned through waiting for that one thing that you can give yourself to totally, this is about loving whatever it is enough to become totally absorbed in constant repetition and gradual improvement, until mastery is attained. Through this process the technique can eventually be transcended, becoming an art.

At 1:15am 15^th (15:15gmt 14^th) Jupiter shifts into Gate 27 ‘caring’ bringing rules and laws into play in relation to ‘nourishment’ and this is the fuel for the support, defence and enhancement of the quality and substance of all activities through responsive caring. This is a powerful generative life force bringing energy for nourishment, as without nourishment and caring, nothing can survive, this is the drive to care and nourish as well as to be cared for and nourished. This is also the Gate of compassion, bringing the power to care for the weak, the sick and the young. And here we get to see pure impressive altruism in action, if this Gate had an archetype, it could be Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
