Today's planetary update

Date: 14th July 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs (note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

We begin our day still in a 1st Line theme, and at 3:18pm the Sun and Earth will move into the 2nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 62 and 61 bringing an energy for being absorbed in whatever it is you love, until your inherent natural talent is called for. And ‘restraint' is in the air, and could be seen as innate restrictiveness and logical discipline to comply with and to exalt restraint, and when applied this is the understanding and discipline necessary for detail work. Plus ‘natural brilliance' is grounding us, with a gift for knowing and inspiration that is both attractive and beneficial to others. This is an empowering gifted nourishing influence, which is free from guile and powerfully attractive. The notself will be anxious over details, and ego obsessing over effects.

The Moon is now moving through Gate 4 ‘formulisation' bringing movement and focus to ‘youthful folly' with the energy to beguile and succeed despite ignorance, experiencing a freedom from retribution as this transit brings logical good fortune. Also all logic means nothing on its own and all concepts have to be substantiated with facts to protect from misjudgement. Potential answers can abound but unless based in fact, they are just concepts. At 2:23pm she will shift into Gate 29 meeting up with Saturn in Gate 46, Defining the Sacral and ‘G' Centres with the Channel of discovery, a ‘design of succeeding where others fail', this is a strong generated life force for direction bringing the focus onto being clear around what is being committed to, as once committed all expectations have to be abandoned and the journey and its discoveries enjoyed for what they bring. Then at 11:27pm the Moon will shift into Gate 59 ‘sexuality' bringing the focus onto ‘dispersion' and the ability to break down barriers to achieve union. And this generative energy supports intimacy and a need to deeply connect with others in a creative way into play, and this fertile energy can be applied to projects and careers as well as babies.

Mercury is now in Gate 33 ‘privacy' bringing communication in relation to ‘retreat' as the active withdrawal and the transformation of a weak position into a strength. And there is a need for privacy to process and reflect on abstract experiences so that they can be expressed and shared, making way for a new cycle to begin. And secrets may just be revealed.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don't have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It's your life!
