Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. You can find out more here
Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.
It's great to back with you after my break, todays post is quite long as I bring you up to date with all the latest.
Today begins with the Sun and Earth in the 1st Lines of Gates/hexagrams 30 and 29 bringing a theme for investigating and digging into things to ensure that there is a secure foundation to build on. For the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘recognition of feelings’ and ‘the clinging fire’ where freedom is recognised as an illusion and limitation accepted as fate. And the Earth is grounding us in ‘saying yes’ and ‘the abysmal’, the deep within the deep, where persistence despite difficulties has its inevitable rewards.
And ‘composure’ is in the air today, and this is about recognising a sense of balance in the face of disorder. All of which is based in the maximisation of abstract limitation in all cases, where experiential stability comes through feelings, no matter what the situation. Plus ‘the draftee’ is grounding us, and here we get to see the sense and ability to adapt to struggle when the experience is necessary at the time, but not as a permanent state. All of which is based in the innate abstract nature to apply creative generative energy in times of war and peace, and there is power to persevere when necessary but not generally. The notself will maintain composure at the expense of progress, unable to let go of feelings. Plus there will be deep impressionability that can make returning to normal conditions extremely difficult, hesitating to make commitments based on past experience.
And then at 10:57pm (11:57am gmt) the Sun and Earth will move into the 2nd Lines bringing a theme for being shyly busy with natural talents until the right call comes to share them. And ‘pragmatism’ is in the air, and this is about sensing the balance between extremes, all of which is based in the experiential productive application of abstract energy without wastage, resulting in not wasting energy on past feelings. Plus ‘assessment’ is grounding us, and here we get to sense persistence tempered by caution, all of which is based in the power of sustainment as a guiding light, leading to creative generative saying yes to what is correct for you and the abstract power to persevere. The notself will be overaggressive and chafe against limitations, tending to overcautiousness when persistence is perceived as adding to rather than ending disharmony.
The Moon is in Gate 12 ‘caution’ bringing movement and focus onto individual ‘standstill’ which is about the empowering quality that restraint can bring to life. This brings into play a knowing that is often experienced through allowing time for meditation and inaction when confronting temptation. And this Gate is specifically about the empowerment that comes through not doing, it is also a Gate of social caution as it has an innate wariness of the collective. This is also a transit where aloneness is accepted and expressed in its own unique way, and if it had a voice it would say ‘I try’ or ‘I won't try’, there is always going to be a maybe with this transit, depending on the mood and the spirit.
At 1:42pm (2:42am gmt) the Moon shifts into conjunction with the South Node in Gate 15 ‘extremes’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘modesty’ which is about a certain quality of logical behaviour which in and of itself can lead to finding love, direction and identity through expressing the proper balance between extremes. And modesty in the traditional sense is always a matter of understanding and balancing extremes, and is where all possible extremes are lived out, which could include being busy or not, eating late, then early, sleeping long and short, generally living out and wanting to share all sorts of extremes of rhythm.
At 11:41pm (12:41gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 52 ‘inaction’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘keeping still mountain’ where logical, temporary and self imposed inaction is vital to allow for the benefits that assessment and understanding bring. And this is the stillness of deep focused concentration that can be used to channel energy into what is logical. Also this need for stillness can at times be anti social, as concentration benefits from withdrawal, and as this is the fuel for how passive energy functions, lack of focus can lead to restlessness and tension.
And as I have not done a report for two weeks, here is a roundup of all the planets as of today.
Mercury is in Gate 13 ‘the listener’ bringing communication in relation to ‘the fellowship of man’, where abstract universal ideas and values are organised into an ordered framework which inspires humanistic cooperation and direction. This brings an identity of openness in sensing and interaction, that is looking to manifest a direction that brings both identity and love, based on reflection and past experience. Here there is a demand on the Self to listen, finding direction through reflection on the past experience, both personal and what is shared. And because of the strong listening influence here, a lot of other people's experiences can be heard and shared, based on an accumulation of memory in relation to the cycle of experience, and a few secrets could come out too.
Venus is in Gate 38 ‘the fighter’ bringing worth and values in relation to ‘opposition’, and this is about the empowered ability to recognise and preserve individual integrity through opposition to detrimental forces. And here we get to see a powerful pressure and fuel that is at its best when up against the odds, fighting in order to establish a sense of value and unique purpose in life. This Gate loves a good fight, and is always ready to stand up for independence and uniqueness, driven by a deep need to feel a sense of carefreeness in life, and if life is not empowered with a real sense of knowing and value depression can set in. This is also about being stubborn, which is a result of not being here to be influenced by others.
Mars is in Gate 49 ‘principles’ bringing maturation and mutation in relation to ‘revolution’ within the community, and this is ideally about the transformation of forms based on and supported by the highest principles and not simply for power. There is also the emotionally fuelled possibility of either rejection or awareness in relation to having the right principles for the community, and there maybe even some ritualistic spirituality in the air. This is the Gate of revolution, which is a potential awareness to know what and whom is needed to support, maintain or restructure the community. Also as a part of supporting the tribe's success there is a sensitivity to interaction with animals, based in taming and breeding them.
Jupiter is in Gate 17 ‘opinions’ bringing rules and laws in relation to ‘following’, and this is based in the ancient law that those who wish to rule must first know how to serve. There is also the possibility to be able to logically organise conceptual formulas, based in having the understanding to prepare it for future expression. This transit also brings out the archetype of the student or the teacher, where opinions must have a logical foundation to withstand testing and criticism. This is where the logical formula is brought into focus, both mentally and visually. It is also where opinions need proof and a logical foundation to be able to withstand testing and criticism, which by the way doesn’t mean the opinions, logical or not, are correct. Something to understand about facts is that they are regularly used to support lies, and in turn lies are proffered as logical formulas. This is purely about the form of the concept, looking to understand and see clearly in the now, so that there is something to share. Also even though these are mental concepts, they are also about visualisation, seeing a fixed pattern and projecting it into the future.
Saturn in Gate 57 continues meeting up with the North Node in Gate 10 defining the Spleen and ‘G’ Centres with the Channel of perfected form, a ‘design of survival’ bringing movement and focus to recognising instinctual awareness, direction, self empowerment and love. This is where we get to see empowered knowing as true beauty expressed through life being the canvas and behaviour the art, and through following intuition and knowing in the now, unique beauty will always be created. This transit also brings into play the art of individual survival, which manifests through being able to intuitively think on your feet, and could be called the art of survival. Here we get to see the love of creating beauty as a form of survival, and when the intuition is honoured, strategic behaviour naturally manifests beauty.
Uranus is in 1st Line Gate 25 ‘selflessness’ bringing sidetracking into play in relation to motiveless action. This is the unique universalisation of individual knowing and activity, and is based in a psychic attunement that is in and of itself its own reward and also enhances love, direction and identity. There is also the potential for centring to be found through attunement to challenges. The notself will be insecure about change and publicise selflessness.
Neptune is in the 5th Line of Gate 30 bringing veils of illusion to ‘irony', and it is not until later through good old hindsight that we can really know exactly what is going on under Neptune's veils of illusion. And what is being veiled is the recognition and dedication to transitory goals. And there is emotional strength derived from the knowledge and experience that two steps forward and one step back is still one step forward. This is where each new feeling brings back an old feeling before progress can take place. The notself will be angry and frustrated by limitations.
Pluto is in the 4th Line of Gate 58 bringing truth to ‘focusing’ which is about a logical and natural specialisation that when confronted with a multiplicity of stimulations will have no inner difficulty in understanding and focusing on the appropriate influence. All of which is based in the shared energy to fuel the recognition of which stimulation is of value for the future.

Hi Mahalo, glad you are OK, the Sun did go into Gate 30 around that time, so you met the 'fates'. As to your cousin, the whole yearly cycle has the 30 in it, or it may have been a 3rd line day, hard to say, it could have been a transit specific to her. Hope you are enjoying Fiji.
Glenda :)

Hi Glenda, nice to see your authoritative words again. I have a question. A couple of days ago, let me see, Sunday 13th afternoon ozzy time, maybe, I was stung by a stingray - am on holiday in Fiji this month. All OK now, but made me think, how coincidences and accidents happen. And my cousin in America broke her leg and needed surgery a day or so before. Anything in the chart to explain recent accidents?
15 Feb 2011, mahalo
Thank you and nice to see you back.
