Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day starts out in the early stages of the 4^th Line theme, and then at 3:18am (19:18gmt 14^th) the Sun and Earth will move into the 5^th Lines of gates 42 and 32 bringing a theme for getting your message out to those who are looking for a practical solution. And ‘self-actualisation’ is in the air today, and this is the creative, generative fuel for the fulfilment and actualisation of purpose as a natural path whose reward is a healthy sense of self, rather than the power and influence that naturally follow. All of which is based in sensing abstract growth that comes as a result of experience and is self fulfilling and naturally leads to sharing influence. Plus ‘flexibility’ is grounding us, and here we recognise and support easy adaption to circumstances. All of which is based in superficiality being a valuable tool, that while masking the inner light and awareness, permits for adaption to prevailing conditions. This is a body instinct for adaption in times of change in the community. The notself will be self involved, with inner growth empowered by reclusiveness, with an urge to express oneself through direct and often violent rejection of conformity in times of change.

The Moon is still shifting through Gate 29 and at 4:54pm (6:54am gmt) she will shift into Gate 59 ‘sexuality’ bringing movement and focus to ‘dispersion’, and this is the generative life force that supports the ability to break down barriers to achieve union. Here is also the fuel for expressed sexuality and/or creativity, and being able to break down barriers through response, so as to bring something new to the community. There is also a desire for intimacy which can manifest as anything from shyness, brotherhood/sisterhood, the femme fatale/Casanova, to the one night stand and a few others in between. Waiting is always the key here, jumping into bonds prematurely will only lead to surface intimacy which is never going to be satisfying.

At 2:07am 15^th (16:07gmt 14^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 40 ‘aloneness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘deliverance’ which can be recognised as support for the point of transition between struggle and liberation. This transit highlights willpower and brings social caution and a real liking for being alone, and this can show up as being happily alone, even in a crowded room. The actress Greta Garbo might have had this Gate, famously saying “I just want to be alone”. Having a good balance of work and rest is also important for this Gate as it brings the ability to work hard for the right reasons, and then needs to rest well to be ready for what comes next. Healthy boundaries are also required here so as not to over extend when it comes to supporting the tribe and community.

At 8:35pm (10:35am gmt) Mars shifts into Gate 21 ‘the hunter/huntress’ bringing maturation and mutation into play in relation to the will and ‘biting through’, and this is where we could see the justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference in the community. This is the ego fuel that supports the power for life on the material plane, and demands to be in control of food, clothing and shelter. This Gate hates to have anyone looking over its shoulder, the hunter/huntress has the ego drive to dominate, and if it had a voice it would say ‘I control’ as when in a situation where it has no control, it’s power can never be fulfilled. This is where control supports and brings fulfilment, and if not in control of how a living is earned, success is always far away.
