Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The days starts in the very early stages of the 4^th Lines of Gates 47 and 22 which I wrote about in yesterdays blog, and then at 7:37am 14^th (21:37gmt 13^th) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 5^th Lines bringing an theme of projection to be a saviour, and practicality is needed to avoid being burned for your efforts. And ‘the saint’ is in the air today, and this a significant transit, as it has no detriment, and through this we can sense and recognise the real gift in times of oppression of being able to maintain without any hypocrisy, a harmonic abstract relationship in relation to one's oppressors. All the while having the sense to provide aid and succour to the oppressed in the collective. This is where we get to see conceptual realisation at its most exalted, which is based in the acceptance of the weight of the abstract conceptualisation process and the grace that naturally follows. Plus ‘directness’ is grounding us today, bringing into play the disregard of form when individuality is required. This is about the unique power and knowing inherent in higher principles that can manifest in successfully transgressing behavioural codes. Here there is the very real possibility available through potential emotional awareness to behave individualistically in empowered social interaction. The notself will create embarrassing situations, resulting in a reputation for crudity and impudence, and result in negative projections.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 36 and at 1:20pm (3:20am gmt) she shifts into conjunction with Uranus in Gate 25 ‘the spirit of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘innocence’, and the individual perfection of unique action through an uncontrived and spontaneous nature. This is where being centred in the now depends on the quality of innocence, and innocence is tested and empowered in the fire of competitive energy. And despite outward appearances the true competition here is whether the self can maintain its unique innocence despite circumstances. This is also the Gate of the shaman/priestess or spiritual warrior who loves all of existence without discrimination, this is where a flower can be loved as profoundly as a human, and this quality of love can be projected as cool or cold, and it is neither. The true mystical potential of this love is both transcendent and universal, and is based in the knowing that the spirit is always being tested. This is also the Gate of scars, which brings the potential of being wounded, exemplified by the warrior fool who leaps empty handed into the void, with only its innocence to carry it, with the hope that it will land on its feet. And yes the spirit can be broken, but triumph and survival enrich the spirit and result in the wonder of being.

At 00:37am 14^th (14:37gmt 13^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 17 ‘opinions’ bringing movement and focus to sidetracking in relation to ‘following’, and this is based in the ancient law that those who wish to rule must first know how to serve. There is also the possibility to be able to logically organise conceptual formulas, based in having the understanding to prepare it for future expression. This transit also brings out the archetype of the student or the teacher, where opinions must have a logical foundation to withstand testing and criticism. This is where the logical formula is brought into focus, both mentally and visually. It is also where opinions need proof and a logical foundation to be able to withstand testing and criticism, which by the way doesn’t mean the opinions, logical or not, are correct. Something to understand about facts is that they are regularly used to support lies, and in turn lies are proffered as logical formulas. This is purely about the form of the concept, looking to understand and see clearly in the now, so that there is something to share. Also even though these are mental concepts, they are also about visualisation, seeing a fixed pattern and projecting it into the future.

At 2:52am 14^th (16:52gmt 13^th) Venus shifts into Gate 46 ‘the determination of the self’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self or identity.

At 2:47pm (4:47am gmt) Mars shifts into Gate 56 ‘stimulation’ bringing maturation and mutation in relation to ‘the wanderer’ and this is where we get to sense and see how stability comes through the recognition and expression of movement. Here we have the perpetuation of abstract continuity through the linking of short term activity based on past reflection. This is an abstract metamorphic expression and if it had a voice this Gate would say ‘I believe’ and is all about making sense of and translating the human experience into language so that it can be shared, I often wonder if Martin Luther King had this Gate? Here we see the abstract expression of ideas, and ideas are never facts, and cannot be substantiated by a formula, the idea is never a solution, but always the journey. This is a pure mental awareness that has nothing to do with action, it is purely about recognising, making sense of, and translating human experience into language, and once the idea is expressed verbally it is the end of the process.
