Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day starts still in the early stages of the 4^th Lines of Gates 43 and 23, and then at 3:38am 14^th (17:38gmt 13^th) the Sun and Earth will shift into the 5^th Lines bringing a theme for coming up with practical solutions for those others who are looking for a way out of their problem. And ‘assimilation’ is in the air today, and here we recognise the individual practical acceptance of the unique values of another path. All of which is based in expansion and contribution being empowered through assimilation, as this is the gift for communicating individual insight and knowing to the collective. Plus ‘progression’ is grounding us, and this is about recognising the unique step by step adaption to relationships which can hinder breakthrough, but lead to taking practical actions which will not jeopardise eventual success. All of which is based in the individual gift of knowing when a unique insight or concept can be shared effectively with others for empowerment in the now. The notself will be looking for protection and acceptance which will be the only motives for assimilation, trying to find harmony which will only strengthen restrictive forces.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 47 and then at 1:52pm (3:52am gmt) she shifts into Gate 6 ‘friction’ bringing movement and focus to ‘conflict’, as the fundamental design component of progress, and this is based in the law of nature that new growth cannot exist without some sort of friction to stimulate it. This is a very complex energy as it has an enormous awareness potential, bringing out feeling, emoting and sensitivity, which are all part of our evolved genetic defence reflex. This is a powerful emotional possibility and is also about supportive boundaries, focusing on who is in and who is out, and developing awareness of the timing of dropping barriers to support intimacy. Also this transit clearly shows that it is only through authentic awareness that the true nature of intimacy can be transformed.

At 11:06pm (13:06gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 46 ‘the determination of the self’ bringing movement and focus to ‘pushing upward’ where abstract good fortune may be sensed and perceived as a result of serendipity, but is actually derived from effort and dedication. This is the Gate of the love of the body and the flesh, and when you recognise this and surrender to the timing of the body as your temple, you are always in the right place at the right time, which is a deeply spiritual experience, and involves complete surrender to the cycle, which may or may not lead to discovery, and unless the cycles of life are accepted, the body can suffer under the stress of constant crisis, disappointment and upheaval.  This Gate brings discovery and good fortune, which is dependent on the determination of the self or identity.

At 8:17am 14^th (22:17gmt 13^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 18 meeting up with Pluto in Gate 58 Defining the Root and Spleen Centres with the Channel of judgement, a ‘design of insatiability’ bringing movement and focus to the logical pressure and drive to find tasteful knowing. And this can be a very critical transit, and the key to giving and gaining understanding is to accept that it is best to not offer to share criticisms unless asked. Challenging life is not everyone's cup of tea, and if the criticism has been invited it will be well received. There is also an insatiable drive for perfection here, which can turn into analysis paralysis, so watch out for that one.  And remember judgement for judgement sake is best applied in the public sector, and not applied to oneself or other individuals.

At 1:20pm (3.20am gmt) Mercury shifts into conjunction with Venus in Gate 3 ‘ordering’ bringing communication into play in relation to ‘difficulty at the beginning’ and this is a creative generative life force energy where the fundamental challenge of individual initiation is to transcend confusion and establish order and knowing. This is the fuel for empowered mutation, or evolutionary growth and change, which starts out as a confused energy, in the sense that it is unsubstantiated, because like the individual insight it is unique and has to find its form. Here we also get to see the fulfilment of knowing through individual expression, where being a unique example brings changes and mutation to all who come into contact with it, as this is the basis of cultural mutation.                                  

At 8:55am 14^th (22:55gmt 13^th) Mars shifts into Gate 27 ‘caring’ bringing maturation and mutation into play in relation to ‘nourishment’ and this is the fuel for the support, defence and enhancement of the quality and substance of all activities through responsive caring. This is a powerful generative life force bringing energy for nourishment, as without nourishment and caring, nothing can survive, this is the drive to care and nourish as well as to be cared for and nourished. This is also the Gate of compassion, bringing the power to care for the weak, the sick and the young. And here we get to see pure impressive altruism in action, if this Gate had an archetype, it could be Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
