Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

It is Full Moon today at 7:28pm (9:28am gmt) in Gate 22 and you can read more on that in the Lunar updates below.

At 9:21am 12^th (23:21gmt 11^th) the Sun and Earth moves into the 3^rd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 47 and 22 bringing a theme where bumping into things where trial and error can bring materially beneficial discoveries. And ‘self oppression’ is in the air today, and here we recognise the conscious and well integrated being whose natural and abstract right action will, through reflection, eventually come to see sense and the unfoundedness of its past oppression. This is where the empowering eventual realisation and conceptualisation that one is really ok comes into play, and can be recognised and shared. Plus ‘the enchanter’ is grounding us today, and here we get to see perfected unique and individual grace, as this where form as a definition and actualisation of substance becomes manifested as knowing or visa versa. There is also the possibility for perfected openness through the alignment of potential emotional energy, knowing and awareness. The notself will be so self oppressed there will be difficulty in finding any self worth, being innately open.

And then at 8:29am 13^th (22:29gmt 12^th) the Sun and Earth move into the 4^th Lines bringing a theme for some friendly networking and connecting for opportunities, and the wronf connections will bring fatigue. And ‘repression’ is in the air, and here we recognise the abstract constraints of external oppression. This is where there is an innate strength of identity that, even in times of the most powerful oppression, can recognise and maintain the sense, concepts and resources that to some extent ensure survival for the benefit of sharing. One way of seeing this is as a real sense of identity that can be maintained despite external conditioning influences and concepts. Plus ‘sensitivity’ is grounding us, and this is about the modification of individual behaviour to enrich and empower unique interactions and potential emotional awareness. This is what could manifest as a mediumistic knowing and simplicity that rejects elaborate rituals, leading to the possibility of social openness through the rejection of formality. The notself will be lost in the darkness, barely able to nourish itself, over relying on the mechanics of style that can abort potentially significant relationships.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 63 and then at 2:56pm (4:56am gmt) she shifts into conjunction with the Earth in Gate 22 ‘openness’ were the Moon becomes Full today at 7:28pm (9:28am gmt) bringing movement and focus to individual ‘grace’ as a quality of behaviour and knowing best suited in handling mundane and trivial situations. This is where the potential to realise unique spirit comes through the emotional awareness and possibility to share that spirit with others, all of which needs social skills to gain public access, empowering others with individual emotional awareness and knowing. This Gate brings the quality of the individual emotional spirit that will condition how receptive the collective will be to individual awareness. Also a certain amount of social interaction is required to get the awareness disseminated, so that mutative evolutionary growth can take place, and grace comes through the spirit of the knower as it moves toward potential emotional awareness.

At 2:07am 13^th (16:07gmt 12^th) the Moon shift into Gate 36 ‘crisis’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the darkening of the light’ with the potential emotional awareness to see the sense of the rule of cycles in which decline is a natural but not enduring stage. This brings an abstract potential of recognition through reflection on feelings that leads to the possibility of change, and looking for ways for conceptualisation to manifest directly as action. This can be a destabilising energy for the unaware, and this is where the crisis can arise from. Change and changes in feeling are natural for the abstract experiential process, and the ultimate role is to be the witness who remembers and reflects, as the shift of feelings determines the ending of a cycle, nothing more, and the recognition of this can only come through awareness. If the energy overwhelms this possibility, the change then becomes either something that is dreaded or embraced, both of which fuels expectations and inevitable crisis.

At 6:19pm (8:19am gmt) the North and South Nodes do a shimmy into the 2^nd Lines of Gates 26 and 45 shifting the stage life is played out on to one of being others absorbed in their natural talents until called on to share them. Also in the view are ‘the lessons of history’, and this is about the ego energy and depth of reflection that can be used supportively in order to learn from the past in anticipation of the future. All of which is based in recognising the power of the ego to mature through experience over time. Plus ‘consensus’ is in our view as well, and here we get to see how tribal style gathering together is supported and strengthened by having an acknowledged common interest. And there is also an inventiveness to establish techniques by which common ground can be assessed, resulting in a material direction manifesting through the expression of techniques for the benefit of others. The notself will try to be this instead of just seeing it, and fail to respect experience, taking action despite the evidence of history, rebelling and refusing to accept the material techniques of others.

At 3:20pm (17:20gmt 12^th) Mercury shifts into Gate 40 ‘aloneness’ bringing communication in relation to ‘deliverance’ which can be recognised as support for the point of transition between struggle and liberation. This transit highlights willpower and brings social caution and a real liking for being alone, and this can show up as being happily alone, even in a crowded room. The actress Greta Garbo might have had this Gate, famously saying “I just want to be alone”. Having a good balance of work and rest is also important for this Gate as it brings the ability to work hard for the right reasons, and then needs to rest well to be ready for what comes next. Healthy boundaries are also required here so as not to over extend when it comes to supporting the tribe and community.
