Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin the day with the Sun and Earth still moving through the 3^rd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 43 and 23 until 4:20am 13^th (18:20gmt 12^th) when they will move into the 4^th Lines bringing a theme for connecting with networks and friends and waiting to see what opportunities appear, also the wrong connections will fatigue you. And ‘fragmentation’ is in the air, and here we recognise unique and individual diversification without any perceived potential for empowered synthesis in the now. All of which is based in a certain knowing fatalism and egoism and a damn the consequences attitude, as this is individual expression which has no collective value. Plus ‘the one track mind’ is grounding us. And this is about recognising unique individual overreliance coupled with a stubborn obsession concerning ones mental abilities in the face of recurring obstacles. All of which is based in having a stubborn reliance on ones unique knowing and insights that demands a very focused mental ability to be properly conceptualised in the now. The notself will be paranoid, fearful and isolated, shunning advice and vainly attempting expression without depth.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 59 and then at 9:45am 12^th (23:45gmt 11^th) she shifts into Gate 40 ‘aloneness’ bringing movement and focus to ‘deliverance’ which can be recognised as support for the point of transition between struggle and liberation. This transit highlights willpower and brings social caution and a real liking for being alone, and this can show up as being happily alone, even in a crowded room. The actress Greta Garbo might have had this Gate, famously saying “I just want to be alone”. Having a good balance of work and rest is also important for this Gate as it brings the ability to work hard for the right reasons, and then needs to rest well to be ready for what comes next. Healthy boundaries are also required here so as not to over extend when it comes to supporting the tribe and community.

At 7:11pm (9:11am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 64 ‘confusion’ bringing movement and focus to 'before completion', and this is about the recognition that transition, like giving birth, requires a determined strength for the passage through. This transit brings an abstract mental pressure to sense and resolve inspiration and find awareness out of experience. In this context confusion is not a negative thing, it simply means that the mind is busy, busy, busy with a great deal of data, most of which is superfluous. And this data requires filtering to relieve the pressure and find the gems of clarity to be shared. This is also about fully experiencing the present in order to reflect upon it, when it is past.

At 4:34am 13^th (18:34gmt 12^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 47 ‘realising', bringing movement and focus to ‘oppression' which is the restrictive and adverse abstract state resulting from internal weakness or external strength or both. And this is a mental pressure, that is looking to make sense of and find conceptual realisation out of experiential inspiration, which may not be such a comfortable process, as it will always take its own time and cannot be rushed. Here we get to see that it is really just a matter of waiting for the moment of realisation to come, and then once the realising has been done and facts found to substantiate it, the rewards are worth it. Also this Gate can create a lot of mental stress and anxiety based in trying to make sense out of past experience, and not being able to put the full picture together, and the secret here is to have patience and surrender to the cyclical nature of this process, and then the ‘aha’ moment of recognition and realisation will appear.

At 8:31am 13^th (22:31gmt 12^th) Venus shifts into conjunction with Mars in Gate 3 ‘ordering’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to ‘difficulty at the beginning’ and this is a creative generative life force energy where the fundamental challenge of individual initiation is to transcend confusion and establish order and knowing. This is the fuel for empowered mutation, or evolutionary growth and change, which starts out as a confused energy, in the sense that it is unsubstantiated, because like the individual insight it is unique and has to find its form. Here we also get to see the fulfilment of knowing through individual expression, where being a unique example brings changes and mutation to all who come into contact with it, as this is the basis of cultural mutation.
