Today's planetary update

Date: 12th April 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

Today the Sun and Earth have moved into the 2nd Lines of Gates 42 and 32, bringing an energy of being shy until it is the right time to be bold. Identification of trends is a theme here, where there is power for growth and capitalisation through recognising and participating in the right trends. Plus if power is controlled and restrained correctly it can of benefit and enhance harmony, leading to potential transformation that may be beneficial to others. The notself will withdraw, resisting change and stopping growth, frustrated and out of control.

The Moon is in conjunction with Uranus in Gate 36 ‘darkening of the light, bring into play the rule of cycles, where decline is a natural but not enduring state. There can be profound emotional experiences, and you just may be moved to chaos if you forget to just sit back and be the witness. Then at 8:07pm she moves into Gate 21 'biting through', moving us toward the justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference. Control will be a big theme, and if this is a correct use of ego power it will lead to fulfilment and success, if not, anger and failure will be the result.

At 1:33pm Mars moves into the 5th Line of Gate 31 ‘self-righteousness', bringing into focus maturing energy around natural specialisation that only develops in isolation, and even when development is complete it can be very difficult to externalise and the only way is to lead oneself, maintaining an attitude that guarantees lack of external influence. The notself will lack any ambition.

Then at 2:53pm the Nodes move into the 1st Lines of Gates 54 and 53, shifting the global view and perception to one of seeing who has the ability to achieve influence through secret relationships. This is where ambitions are guided and fulfilled through covert or clandestine relationships. There are private advisers in all sorts of positions who fuel influence and we just might see them come to light during this transit. Plus the view could also contain the completion or dissolution of old forms and what has been accumulated, while still maintaining valued components which can be retained and transformed, ready to take into the new cycle. There will be a pressure to begin something new based on the foundation of the old. In the notself we could see formal recognition of relationships diminish power, and criticism hampering the starting of something new.

At 5:14pm Jupiter moves into Line 4 of Gate 22 ‘sensitivity', bringing a focus onto rules and laws where the modification of behaviour can enrich interactions, with a mediumistic simplicity that rejects elaborate rituals, leading to the possibility of social openness through the rejection of formality. The notself will reject significant relationships in favour of style.
