Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

We begin our day still moving through the early stages of the 6th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 1 and 2 which you can read up in yesterdays blog. And then at 2:13am 12th (15:13gmt 11th) the Sun and Earth shift into the 1st Lines of Gates 43 and 23 bringing a theme for investigating and digging into things to find a secure foundation to build on. For the next 6 days the Sun will be shining in ‘insight’ and ‘breakthrough’ where in order for achievement to be maintained a new order must be fairly established. Plus the Earth will be grounding us in ‘assimilation’ and ‘splitting apart’ bringing amorality as the awareness and understanding which leads to acceptance of diversity. This is also defining the Ajna and Throat Centres with the Channel of structuring, a 'design of individuality', bring knowing to the expression of insights and concepts.

And ‘patience’ is in the air today, and this is about the recognition that new and unique conceptual forms cannot be established until individual resistance has been eliminated, which is based in needing the necessary awareness and depth to empower and bring into form an individual insight and knowing in the know. Plus ‘proselytization’ is grounding us, and this is about attempting to undermine one set of individual values for another. This could be likened to the archetype of the unique sage, who in the extreme can even defend evil as a conceptual part of the greater good, which can also be recognised as the awareness and ability to powerfully express an insight and knowing which will undermine established values. The notself will delight in insight but lack the depth to establish it, powerfully expressing insights which will produce negative effects.

The Moon is still shifting through Gate 23 and at 8:11pm (9:11am gmt) she shifts into Gate 8 ‘contribution’ bringing movement and focus to individualised ‘holding together’ and this is where an individual’s basic worth is realised and recognised through the actions of contributing their unique efforts to group goals. This is based in the individual possibility of metamorphosis leading to the expression of what you know you can do, and this is best done through going your own way and being the example, and whether anyone follows you or not is irrelevant as the individual knower is designed to be able to go it alone.

At 7:26am 12th (20:26gmt 11th) the Moon shifts into Gate 20 ‘the now’ bringing movement and focus to ‘contemplation’ and this is about the recognition and expression of unique individual awareness in the now, which in turn transforms understanding into right action. This is all about seeing life in the present moment, life has to be now! It’s being totally absorbed in knowing in the present moment, instantaneously speaking, acting or becoming clear. There can also be melancholy over the world as it is now, with a deep need to care for oneself first.

At 11:34pm (12:34gmt) Venus shifts into conjunction with the North Node Gate 5 and then at 4:08am 12th (17:08gmt 11th) Mercury also shifts into Gate 5 ‘rhythms’ bringing values, worth and communication into play in relation to our environmental view of ‘waiting’ for the fundamental attunement to natural logical rhythms. And here we get to see and understand waiting as an active state of awareness in all of its glory. This Gate is the drive and fuel for the Tantra of sharing the rhythm of life, and brings into play the generative power to fix the natural pattern. This is all about the creativity, innate habits, daily rhythm and tempo that naturally move us into the future, and is never about establishing these patterns through any form of mental awareness, it is purely mechanical. In this context the role of awareness is to not identify with concepts that try to alter the natural pattern, as nothing should be allowed to interfere with natural creative patterns and how they are shared in life.

At 9:13pm (10:13am gmt) Mars shifts into Gate 59 ‘sexuality’ bringing maturation and mutation to ‘dispersion’, and this is the generative life force that supports the ability to break down barriers to achieve union. Here is also the fuel for expressed sexuality and/or creativity, and being able to break down barriers through response, so as to bring something new to the community. There is also a desire for intimacy which can manifest as anything from shyness, brotherhood/sisterhood, the femme fatale/Casanova, to the one night stand and a few others in between. Waiting is always the key here, jumping into bonds prematurely will only lead to surface intimacy which is never going to be satisfying.
