Today's planetary update

Date: 11th May 2010

Time: 9:30am Aust. AEST / GMT +10hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

The Sun and Earth are now in the 2nd Lines of Gates/hexagrams 23 and 43 bringing an energy of being a hermit, busy with natural talents. There is a lot of pressure to communicate individual concepts and knowing, and there is a need to abandon tolerance when individual survival is threatened, working with the principle of preservation at its most acute, and self defence is self empowerment that empowers others. And through dedication specialised attitudes can be maintained which will promote individual knowing and breakthrough, which is done by using unique mental habits and thought processes that promote insights which can be self empowering. The notself will be defensive, incautious and rush into the wrong things.

The Moon is in Gate 21 meeting up with Venus in Gate 45 Defining the Throat and Ego/Heart Centres with the Money Line, a ‘Design of a Materialist'. Bringing the focus onto leading and being in control, and material success, who has it, and who doesn't. And there is support from the will or ego for communicating with or for the ‘tribe' which can be the family or community. At 12:46pm the Moon moves into Gate 51 meeting up with Uranus is Gate 25 Defining the Ego/Heart and G Centres with the Channel of Initiation, a ‘Design of Needing to be First', bringing the focus onto being centred in unconditional love, the empowered warrior/ess spirit and mystical direction. Here empowerment comes through walking the path alone, and leaping into the unknown to transcend old modes of power, leading to new and fresh experiences. Then at 11:27pm the Moon moves into Gate 42 ‘growth', bring the focus onto increase and the expansion of the resources which will maximise the development of full potential. This life force energy brings things to a close so that the next step can be taken, ready to share past experience in order to complete the cycle.

At 11:07pm Mars shifts into the 5th Line of Gate 7 ‘the general', bringing a maturing and mutating energy to direction and leadership whose authority must be absolute and is sanctioned by society in time of crisis. This is the gift of the capacity of the Self to attract the loyalty necessary for harmonising the potential of society, ready to share logical patterns to secure the future safety of those who look for guidance and protection. The notself will be isolated and lack loyalty.

Today Mercury completes its retrograde passage and begins moving forward, going over again what it has retrograded through until the 28th of May, so there will be some more reviewing around communication. Mercury is still in the 1st Line of Gate 27 which I wrote about on the 9th, and it will be there for a few more days as it slowly resumes forward motion, before picking up speed.
