Today's planetary update

Date: 11th March 2010

Time: 11:25am Aust. EDT / GMT +11hrs(note: this is Australian time, so if you are in another country check your time zones)

We start our day here in Sydney with the Sun and Earth in the 4th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 22 and 47, bringing the energy where opportunities can show up through your networks and friends. There is a possibility for social openness through the rejection of formality, based in modifying behaviour so as to enrich interactions by dropping elaborate rituals in favour of simplicity. And through strength of identity your inner resources can be maintained, even in times of powerful oppression, and this can ensure survival for the benefit of others. It's all about being able to maintain your sense of identity despite any external conditioning influences you may meet. The notself will be overly reliant on the mechanics of style, limiting or aborting significant relationships. Overwhelmed by external conditioning, barely able to nourish itself let alone others.

At 6:45pm we shift into the Incarnation Cross of Grace, bringing deep, deep attentiveness, where you can get totally absorbed in what you are hearing, which in turn can then bring a mutative change. There is also a lot of social potential, through really being able to listen and through this openness to listening, strangers are met and brought in to the group. And people can get stuck on falling in love, and it doesn't have to be in love with a partner, you just have to be able to listen to what you love, so you might fall ‘in love' with a singer and listen to them 24/7.

The moon is in Gate 60 ‘acceptance' where the acceptance of limitation is the first step in transcendence and through this acceptance, lasting changes can come into the world. There is also a pressure to bring something totally new into the world, which can only happen when limitation is accepted and the timing is right. Then at 8:47pm she moves into Gate 41 meeting up with Gate 30, Defining the Root and Solar Plexus Centres via the ‘Channel of Recognition', bringing into play an adrenalized emotional pressure and drive to fulfil dreams and fantasies. Dreams will be everywhere and to avoid failed expectations the wisdom is to simply enjoy the dreams for what they are and not try and do or act to make them come true. There will be desire for new experience, which if it is not the right experience it can lead straight to chaos and crisis.

Venus has moved into Gate 17 ‘opinions' bringing a focus onto our values and worth in the context of the ancient law that those who wish to rule, must first know how to serve. Opinions will be formed by projecting the mind into the future, to try and come up with an organised, logical, workable concept, so it can be expressed to others. There will be a fear of being challenged and anxiety over whether the details will stand up to scrutiny.

At 10:39am Mercury moves in with the Sun in Gate 22 ‘openess', bringing communication around the quality of behaviour best suited in handling mundane and trivial situations, looking for a way to bring grace to any situation. There will be a huge pressure to express feelings, wanting to transmit your emotional spirit to others, and when the depth of the emotion is correct, this can be very empowering. There can be fear of silence and lack of growth, becoming deeply melancholy if there is nothing worth listening to.

Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don't have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It's your life!
