Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

The day starts out with the Sun and Earth in the 4^th Lines of Gates/hexagrams 53 and 54 and then at 10:16pm (12:16gmt) they will shift into the 5^th Lines bringing a theme for coming up with practical solutions to share with the right others. And ‘assertion’ is in the air today, and this is the fuel for the underlying and often psychic recognition and sensing of the intrinsic values of abstract development, that even in periods of isolation, has the assertiveness to maintain direction. All of which is based in having the very power which garners continued support even from those who are basically opposed. This is the pressure to recognise the value of generative development and the energy for beginnings regardless of past circumstances. Plus ‘magnanimity’ is grounding us, and here we recognise the pressure for an instinctive natural authority and actualising spirit, that in a position of power can have genuine supportive and fruitful relationships with the less advantaged. (As long as those less advantaged are in service and make no demands). This is the energy for actualising, that despite this power, fuels fruitful relationships with others in the community. The notself will be overly assertive, which strengths the opposing forces.

The Moon is still moving through Gate 43 and then at 10:20am (00:20am gmt) she shifts into Gate 14 ‘power skills’ bringing movement and focus onto ‘possession in great measure’, and here we see the creative generation, accumulation and retention of individual power through skilled interaction, coupling unique grace with control. This is an extremely fertile life force energy, bringing the power and energy for finding individual empowered direction, and the quality of the generative fuel determines the quality of direction. Here we get to see the generative fuel that powers the Tantra of empowering the Self, and the main drive here is to find direction, as real creative potential lies in loving the work that you do. This Gate also brings the skills and commitment to drive new projects and creative endeavours out into the world, and yes this involves work, but it is a labour of love, and wealth can arise from sustained creative work.

At 8:01pm (10:01am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 34 ‘power', bringing movement and focus to ‘the power of the great', where unique individuated power is only great when its display or use serves the common good. This is pure centred unconditional creative generative power, ready for display and available for use through response, this is the knowing power to be independent and the energy of individual conviction. This is also the essential fuel for individuation, and determines whether or not individuation can be maintained, looking for ways that awareness can become deeds.

At 5:44am 12^th (19:44gmt 11^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 9 ‘focus’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the taming power of the small’ and this is where logical potential can be fulfilled and shared through understanding and detailed attention to all the pertinent aspects. This brings a fuel for determination, and the creative generative power to maintain focus, especially on those details that can carry us into the future. This Gate brings an ability for prolonged focus and detailed work, as long as the discipline of sitting still can be maintained. 'God is in the detail' could be this Gate's mantra, and it must be the right detail that has come to you through your Strategy and Inner Authority.

At 9:08am (23:08gmt 10^th) Mercury shifted into Gate 7 ‘the role of the self’ bringing communication into play in relation to ‘the army’ which is a metaphor for having a common point of convergence. And here we get to see how having a logical point of convergence, by design brings understanding and recognition of the need for leadership to guide and order society into a logical direction for the future through the role of interaction and sharing. This transit is all about logical direction and the role of the Self or identity in interaction, and how that plays out to lead us into the future. And this is done mainly through first of all testing out established patterns to find certainty for the future. This role of the self is unaware, it is purely mechanical, and is driven by our genes and does not respond to any mental concepts of role, it is just purely conditioning how we move into the future.

At 8:28am 12^th (22:28gmt 11^th) Venus shifts into Gate 39 meeting up with Neptune in Gate 55 Defining the Root and Solar Plexus Centres with the Channel of emoting, a ‘design of moodiness’ bringing values and worth into play in relation to misinformation around recognising a powerful individual emotional pressure to fuel unique emotional awareness through provoking the right spirit. And the key here is to learn to appreciate life’s lows as much as you love the highs. Also through letting go of wanting to control love, real freedom and knowing can be found in the now.
