Today's planetary update

Welcome to my daily transit update, firstly, if you are not really familiar with the Human Design System some of this may seem a little cryptic to you, remember it is based on keynotes from the I Ching, and can be like a zen koan, so sit and muse on it, and let it unravel and reveal itself to you through your own unique relationship to it. Remember that I am describing conditioning themes brought by the planets, they are like the weather, passing through and you don’t have to be influenced by them, you can use or ignore them to best advantage by following your Strategy and Inner Authority. Enjoy the ride! It’s your life! Stick to your Strategy and Inner Authority, it is your guiding light to your true north, don’t get distracted by the bright shiny lights that conditioning brings.

Today begins with the Sun and Earth still moving through the tail end of Gates/hexagrams 54 and 53 and then at 7:19pm (8:19am gmt) they will shift into the 1^st Lines of Gates 61 and 62 bringing into play a theme for investigating things to make sure they have enough depth and a secure enough foundation to stand up to the test of time, otherwise throw them out. For the next 6 days the Sun is shining in ‘mystery’ and ‘inner truth’ and the awareness of universal underlying principles. The Earth is grounding us in ‘detail’ and ‘preponderance of the small’ where caution, patience and detail produce excellence out of limitation.

And ‘occult knowledge’ is in the air today, and this is a mental pressure that brings inspiration and a natural psychic awareness that empowers recognition of the principles of universalisation. All of which is based in the unique individual pressure to empower and know the mysteries through esoterics in the now. Plus ‘routine’ is grounding us, and here we get to recognise the ability to transcend the boredom of routine through a rich and daring fantasy life, all of which is based in the logical ability to act on, understand and organise the detail through fantasy about the future. The notself will withdraw, so absorbed in the pressure to know the mysteries that they are incapable of handling reality. Plus energy will be wasted rebelling and ignoring details.

At 10:15am 11^th (23:15gmt 10^th) the Moons shifts into Gate 17 ‘opinions’ bringing the focus onto ‘following’, and this is based in the ancient law that those who wish to rule must first know how to serve. There is also the possibility to be able to logically organise conceptual formulas, based in having the understanding to prepare it for future expression. This transit also brings out the archetype of the student or the teacher, where opinions must have a logical foundation to withstand testing and criticism. This is where the logical formula is brought into focus, both mentally and visually. It is also where opinions need proof and a logical foundation to be able to withstand testing and criticism, which by the way doesn’t mean the opinions, logical or not, are correct. Something to understand about facts is that they are regularly used to support lies, and in turn lies are proffered as logical formulas. This is purely about the form of the concept, looking to understand and see clearly in the now, so that there is something to share. Also even though these are mental concepts, they are also about visualisation, seeing a fixed pattern and projecting it into the future.

At 9:37pm (10:37am gmt) the Moon shifts into Gate 21 ‘the hunter/huntress’ bringing movement and focus to the will and ‘biting through’, and this is where we could see the justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference in the community. This is the ego fuel that supports the power for life on the material plane, and demands to be in control of food, clothing and shelter. This Gate hates to have anyone looking over its shoulder, the hunter/huntress has the ego drive to dominate, and if it had a voice it would say ‘I control’ as when in a situation where it has no control, it’s power can never be fulfilled. This is where control supports and brings fulfilment, and if not in control of how a living is earned, success is always far away.

At 8:57am 12^th (21:57gmt 11^th) the Moon shifts into Gate 51 ‘shock’ bringing movement and focus to ‘the arousing’ and this is where we see in action the unique ability to be able to respond to disorder and shock through recognition, adaptation and the maintaining of individual centering. This is the Gate of self empowered individual initiative and fully embodies the will power to compete, which is based in a certain knowing plus a strong ego drive that can lead to either courage or folly, and there is always going to be some sort of shocks involved, resulting in a potential for wounding. Also this competitive drive even though not being an awareness as such, does bring a competitive drive that in turn brings a unique centering to our evolutionary process, and also brings empowerment to love in its many forms.

At 6:16pm (7:16am gmt) Mars shifts into Gate 60 ‘acceptance’ bringing maturation and mutation in relation to ‘limitation’, where the knowing, recognition and acceptance of limitation is the first step in individual transcendence. This is about the unique growth that comes through releasing limited amounts of energy, manifesting as power bursts rather than sustained flows. This fuel comes in a pulse, for example it could be seen that knowing is there, and then it is not, and it is the spaces in between the knowing that allow for empowered evolutionary growth and change to take place. Miles Davis, the Jazz musician, understood this through music, he said that the mystery of music is in the space between the notes, and from a Human Design perspective, it is in the space between that the mutation that moves us forward into the new takes place.
